Part B people! Lololol. Anyway, this is how I originally intended on the story to be written. Sections A and B will eventually catch up. Meaning I have to write a lot to put into this chapter and next chapter.
Recap:
Last chapter Night and Ukyo trained for a while before going to get ice cream. They were mistaken as a couple which the two quickly denied, blushing like the fools they are. That was where Night felt a pang in her chest as she realized something that was not quite right. She didn't just like Ukyo. She......... Jk. Night is too oblivious to realize anything right then.
As Ukyo and I normally did, we sat on a bench while eating ice cream. I started swinging my legs back and forth while talking about a new strategy I wanted to try.
"I think Crimson would do well of the defense. Powder Launch could help with that so I wouldn't have to make a new starter move." I sighed, "Coming up with new strategies is so difficult."
"Well, balance type beys tend to be able to hold more strategies and special moves. You can do a lot with Crimson."
"I know. You can still do a lot with Unicrest." Ukyo nodded. We continued to talk until our ice cream was finished and we decided to take a walk. In the middle of it, I found a path in the woods.
"Let's take a stroll through here, Ukie. There's a path so we shouldn't get lost!"
"Ok. Let's go then." I began to walk through the path, happy as can be. At least, until I walked into the fourth spider web that had an actual spider on it. I screamed and then began doing that weird dance you do if you end up with a spider web on you and it has a spider.
"Night, calm down! You're going to hurt yourself!" I stopped, still terrified of the spider. Ukyo moved his hand to my hair and pulled away a huge spider.
"Kill it."
"What?"
"I said kill it. You don't know if it can kill you or not."
"You shouldn't kill an innocent creature." He lifted it up to examine it and then deemed it apparently, safe.
"Kill it."
"No, it's not deadly. The bite will still hurt, but it won't kill you."
"It's a spider. Spiders are terrifying creatures that need to be murdered."
"If we didn't have spiders, we would have more flies and mosquitoes."
"The frogs will eat them."
"The frogs need help sometimes."
"No."
"What do you mean, no? That's the way it was made."
"I mean no, because spiders don't matter. Spiders are evil. Spiders must be killed."
"Let's just release the spider."
"Fine." Ukyo set the spider down on the branch and we walked off. I made sure Ukyo was a bit ahead of me. I don't want to get another spider stuck on me. We had been walking for a while when I yawned and rubbed my eyes.
"I think it's time we head back. You're getting tired and I bet you're hungry." I just shrugged.
"We can keep on. I'm always yawning."
"I don't want you to pass out in the middle of the woods."
"No need to be such a worry wart. I'll be fine."
"Turn around." I shook my head. Does he know?
"Uh-uh." Nah. There's no possibility.
"Night, you're about to collapse. I can tell. Your stride is weakening." Ok, so maybe he does know. He stopped walking and I just continued past him. My knees buckled and I did a mix of falling forward and backward. Ukyo quickly grabbed hold of me and lifted me up, in a way some would call bridal style. I refer to it as rescuer style.
"So, maybe you were right." He began to walk out of the woods and I grabbed onto his jacket and shirt. I will not be dropped nor fall if he decides to freak out over something and let go.
"I won't drop you." Can he read minds? Sheesh, I hope not. I think a lot of stupid things.
"Are you sure? And can you read minds?"
"Yes, I am sure. No, I can't read minds. I'm good at reading body language."
"Sure, let's go with that." I yawned once more and put my head against his chest.
"We're almost there." I nodded.
"K. I'm gonna take a short nap..." Then I closed my eyes and drifted off into a deep slumber filled with what I hoped would be good dreams.
-oOo-
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off and I was quite disoriented.
"What..? It's morning already?" I stood up and stretched, turning off the alarm. Still confused, I quickly got dressed and went to eat breakfast. Grabbing an apple, I grabbed the keys to my house and walked out, locking the door. I hurried to where a tournament was being held at. I can't miss it! I'm already late as it is!
"Ukie! What did I miss?!" Once I spotted Ukyo, I quickly called out to him.
"Only them introducing everyone. Free de la Hoya is in it this time." I nodded.
"Epic. I can't wait to see Fafnir in action. It'll help me out if I ever want to battle him."
"Work on your stamina and defense a bit more first."
"I know, I know." I will battle against him. No matter what. We watched the battles with little interest up until Free came up, where we paid more attention. He launched his bey harshly and his brown eyes looked black. Fafnir seemed to be gliding around the stadium, not ceasing in its stamina at all.
"Amazing." I was gawking at the bey, awe clearly evident in my eyes. I will beat you, Free de la Hoya. Even if it's the last thing I do...
CUE TIME SKIP!!!!!!!! Lololol. I'm gonna add two more chapters to this selection and get Selection A to the same time zone and stuff. All before making Chapter Eleven which will be where they both connect. Either way, they should hopefully lead to mainly the same thing.
