I Don't Know What To Call This, But It's Just Pure Smut

"Gerard?" I called out loudly as I closed the door to his apartment behind me, it wouldn't have surprised me much if the fucker was still asleep to be honest. "Gee?" I called a little louder as I ventured further into the slightly messy and very dark living room.

Sighing I put my phone and keys down on the coffee table and headed to the blinds opening them up to let the afternoon light in, Gerard was a little too good at immersion. He had been very stressed with work the past few weeks and every time I had walked into his apartment it was messier and less presentable, he woke up drank loads of coffee and worked until he fell asleep. And his sleep schedule was completely fucked.

The poor guy had never been good at separating work and home life, he was a little too committed to the work he did. He was the kind of guy who would lock himself in his room and inject himself with caffeine to work on something if he had an idea going. He wasn't much of a people person, either he had me, he had is family and he had a few other friends who dropped him a message from time to time. He'd had a few fleeting relationships at college but not a serious boyfriend in ages.

I cleared up his living room for him and washed up the dishes in the kitchen as I was fully aware he wouldn't properly tidy the place until he was done with this project. Then after I'd been in the place for must have been over half an hour I made my way to his bedroom.

"Gee?" I called fairly loudly as I knocked on the door, but not so loud that I'd wake him if he was still asleep, no answer. "Gee, I'm coming in." I called and just as I pushed the door open I heard a noise from inside.

"No." He said very clearly after what could only be described as a moan. It was a little late by then; I had the door open and was looking right at him as he was sat on his bed almost naked, covered only by some little black briefs which his hand was stuffed down.

"Shit." I mumbled staring at him frozen for a moment as I tried to work out exactly why I was struggling not to smile. "Fuck sorry." I cried out in horror when I finally regained my cognitive thinking and closed the door again.

Once the door was closed and I was stood outside staring at the closed door I stopped and let out the breath I didn't actually realise I had been holding. "Fuck, wow." I chuckled as I bit my lip and stared at the blank door again, a lot of things had happened in those brief twenty seconds but I hadn't quite imagined any of them to involve me wanting to see that again.

Gerard was a strangely attractive guy, I'd always thought that, but he was my friend I'd never actually thought about it any further than to think he was just a good looking guy. Sure we'd made out once or twice when we were really drunk, I think I might have felt him up a little too, but we were drunk it wasn't like it meant anything. I mean that was total shit, because I had a serious thing for him, but it was just one of those things that you ignore because you're best friends and in ten years you remember it and laugh about it. Gerard certainly wouldn't reciprocate, it was stupid.

"Frank." He called surprising me and knocking me back into the moment, the moment where I was stood outside his bedroom door mere seconds after walking in on something we'd probably decide to pretend I had never walked in on.

"Uh, hi." I called back awkwardly.

"You can come in." He laughed with little hesitation I opened the door again and slipped in with an awkward smile. "So..." He bit his lip and cocked his eyebrows at me as he looked as awkward as I felt.

"Yeah." I laughed as I tried to avoid looking at him as he sat cross legged on his bed still in just his pants, only his arms were now carefully covering the fact he obviously still had a boner. "I should probably go." I mumbled after a rather awkward silence which had already lasted thirty seconds and it felt like much longer.
