Meet Serena

Serena's Pov

My name is Serena Yvonne. I live in Vaniville town in the kalos region, but I travel with my friends Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie to fulfill my dream of hopefully becoming Kalos queen.

Right now, I just finished my performance against Aria, the kalos queen. "Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to vote! Please take your glowcaster and set it to the corresponding color of your favorite performance! Those of you watching at home can also vote via your smartphone!"

The voice came from Pierre, the host of the master class. He spoke in a heavy kalosian accent.

At that moment, hundreds of little glowing lights flew to both me and Aria. I was nervous, but I was also anticipating the results. I shut my eyes as the glowing dots stopped.

"Will Aria keep her reign as Kalos queen, or will we have a new face of royalty? Find out after these messages!" Pierre spoke again.

Wait, what!? After these messages?! Are you telling me we have to sit through a goddamned commercial?! Whatever, I don't even care anymore.

A few minutes past, but it felt like an eternity of waiting. "PLACES EVERYONE! WE GO LIVE IN 3... 2..." the director said. He didn't say the '1', he just pointed.

"Welcome back! When we last left off, we were about to view the results of the master class finals!" Pierre spoke into the microphone.

"Now, without further ado, the winner is...

...

...

...

...

...

...

Performer Serena!!!"

I can't believe it! I actually won!! I jumped up and down in excitement, I cried tears of happiness, and I hugged my Pokémon. This was the happiest moment in my life.

"There you have it, everyone! We have a new Kalos queen! Thank you and goodnight!" And with that, the master class was over. I went backstage, changed into my regular clothes, and met up with my friends.

As soon as I did, I was greeted by a big hug from ash. "I'm so proud of you!" We stayed in this position for awhile. When we finally parted, I was blushing a considerable amount. Ash was also blushing a little bit as well. "We all are." Ash said, scratching his neck.

"They're not the only ones!" A voice said behind me. When I turned around, I was greeted by a bone crushing hug from my mother.

"H-hey mom. C-can't b-breathe." I said shakily. She let go of me and sweatdropped. "Sorry. I'm just so proud of you!" She said. I smiled a bit, but it soon turned into a frown.

"So you're not mad at me for not being a rhyhorn racer?" I asked. "Mad? Why would I be mad? When you're happy, I'm happy." She said as she hugged me. I smiled. "Thanks mom."

We parted from the hug and my mom looked at her watch and said "Would you look at the time. I have to go back to Vaniville. Bye Serena!" My mom said "bye!" I said back.

"Oh, and Serena?" She called. "Yeah mom?" I asked. "Don't do anything too crazy with your boyfriend!" She said while running. "MOM! HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!!" I shouted.
