Ash Pov

My name is Ash Ketchum. I live in Pallet Town in the Kanto region. I travel the world with my buddy, Pikachu to reach my goal to become a Pokémon master!

Right now, I am battling Alain in the kalos league finals. Both mega Charizard X and Ash-Greninja are tired.

"Ready for more? Use water shuriken!" I shout to Greninja. A blue and gold vortex surrounded Greninja. When the vortex dissipated, Greninja was holding a giant golden shuriken in his hand.

"Now! Blast burn!" Alain shouted to mega charizard x. Mega Charizard x became engulfed in blue flames as he smashed his hands into the ground.

Both attacks collided with their intended targets. There was a massive explosion. The entire crowd held their breath. When the dust settled, both Pokémon were still standing.

Mega Charizard x stumbled.

Greninja stumbled.

As his knees buckled, mega charizard x fell to the floor, reverting back to his normal form.

"Charizard is unable to battle! Greninja wins! Ash is the champion!" Said the announcer in disbelief.

There was a roar of applause and cheering. "It's over! After multiple fierce battles during the kalos league's final round, Ash clinches it big time!" The announcer says as Greninja reverts to his normal form.

I walk up to Greninja. "Thanks Greninja. I couldn't have done it without you." I say as I pull him into a hug.

Just then, Alain walks over to me. "That was a great battle, ash. I hope to battle against you again soon." He said. "Same here." I said as we shook hands.

~timeskip to winner's ceremony~

I can't believe it... I'm champion. All those years of travelling have finally paid off! I'm finally a Pokémon master!

"Ash?" Diantha said as she handed me the trophy. "You've created a strong bond between you and your Pokémon. As a trainer, you've displayed unparalleled strength through a number of challenging battles. I applaud you." "Thank you so much, Diantha." I said.

A huge roar of applause and cheering filled the stadium. Alain walked up to me. "Congratulations, Ash. You've shown me something I could never find on my own. You've taught me that it takes more than just being strong to win. You have shown me I still have much to learn. You have achieved something only I can dream of, and you deserve the title of Kalos champion." Alain said with pride.

I nodded at him and smiled.

After the ceremony, I walked outside the stadium to see my friends.

I was greeted by a hug from Serena. "Ash! We are all so proud of you!" She said. I hugged her back. We stayed in this position for a good 30 seconds. When she pulled away, she was blushing. I was also blushing a little bit.

"That was a really great battle, ash! You and Greninja were amazing!" Clemont exclaimed. "Thanks Clemont." I said. "Alain was also super strong! He almost beat you." Said Bonnie. "Yeah. Alain's strong, alright." I said.

I noticed Bonnie's eyelids started to droop. She yawned. "Uh oh. I think it's somebody's bedtime. I'll get us a room to stay at the pokemon center." Clemont said while carrying her to the nearest pokemon center.

"Thanks Clemont." Me and Serena said in unison. I pulled out my phone and looked at the time. "Oh yeah, it's getting pretty late. We should catch up with Clemont." I said. "Okay. Sounds good. I'm getting pretty tired too." Serena said, rubbing her eye.

"Do you want me to carry you?" I teased her. Her face turned as red as a tomato berry. "W-what?!" She exclaimed.
