I walked down the corridor, the pass in my hand. I managed to get it from Amber. Sister's friend privileges. It was a weekly routine. Every Sunday at the TASS, I would go to visit Sea. I felt sorry for her as she was always stuck in this glass chamber, her moves closely observed. Out in the world, there were some other people who had the same power as Sea. They didn't have to be locked up like Sea, all they had to do was wear gloves. Not like Sea wanted to kill all of us anyways, she was nice.
I opened the door to the Centre where all those with dangerous abilities were kept. I walked past people looking plain miserable until I reached the end. Chamber 34. My fingers ran along the labels.

A whole family of power. They sent Sea to TASS when they had to work for SuperUniteAsean, the ASEAN supernatural association. SuperUniteAsean was also where Hazel's older triplets worked. Sea was sent when she was a baby. She had been locked up ever since. My hands pressed against the glass, feeling a wave of sorrow for Sea. 17 years in the chamber, like she was an animal in an enclosure. Putting on a full bodysuit, I did a full scan and entered.
"Hi, Sea," I said, sitting down next to her.
"Hi, what've you been up to?" she asked.
That kickstarted our conversation almost every time.
After my half hour was up, the alarm rang and I had to go. If only I could spend more time with Sea, I would love that.
