~~ chapter 16 ~~

~~~shiro's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

i started heading to the cells with food hunk made for keith,and strangely enough i haven't seen lance or pidge yet,so either there both still asleep ,but with pidge is highly unlikely or they both are training ,still unlikely but i hope they are there bonding needs to strengthen so were still ready for when we are on our next mission,we have to stay alert.

i turn the corner down the hall way ,while hearing someones voice.it grew louder the closer i got ,i knew it wasn't keith seeing he is yet to speak and it sounded to feminine to be lance,the moment im in front of the cell i see a passed out lance on the floor a pidge typing like crazy on their laptop and keith with a head set trying to take it of and being slapped away by pidges free hand.

"what on earth am i even looking at right now"pidge and keith jump a little from me yelling.both looking to me as keith growls almost instantly stopped by pidge "well we got carried away trying to test keith with his current state lance fell asleep after 3 hours and now, as you can see"she points to the headset"im trying to search for any difference in his brain waves"i pinche the bride of my nose and sigh"i asked you both to give him space and now you have gotten him wired up without his consent"i open up the door and walk in,"well i came to see him and give him food.hunk made it "i place the plate in front of him as pidge takes off the head set.

we sat and waited for him to start eating but nothing happened,pidge sighed and flopped backwards,"i think his brain is too fried to eat"

i was trying to encourace him to eat by pushing it closer like how hunk did last night with the moniter but nothing was working,i held out the knife and fork,maybe he was waiting for utensils.

he seemed more confused with the fact i was offering them instead of eating."shiro i highley doubt the  problem is with eating utensls,maybe he doesnt want it?"she took away the knife and fork.

~~~pigdes POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"keith look its food just eat already!!!!!!!!"this is so stupid ,WHY WONT HE JUST EAT,i know that this gass stuff effected him but like it shouldn't stop him from eating.

he picked up the plate,finally and scooped a handful off the food goo ,sniffed it then shoving the hole piece in his mouth,he kept on taking handfuls off the goo shoving it down his throat "well that's one way to eat"shiro looked shocked while began writing this down,for research of course.

so he mainly relies on animalistic impulses witch could be the traits of galra but he has always been known for acting on instinct so why has the gas made his body react so badly,into a fully body transformation?i'm going to have to do a full body inspection to sell witch parts are different and what parts have stayed the same,it doesn't seem like i need a cure from the gass more likely something to fix or add more of his human DNA.

shiro waved his hand in my face"hey pidge you okay? you kind of spaced out there for a moment " (i need to stop having space dad making space jokes)"oh yeah i'm fine ,just thinking how i can fix this "giving a small smile trying to stay positive."well this all could be a learning curve for all of us and it might be what we need to bond closer as a team"he gave a re assuring smile.

a yaun broke through our conversation"mornin pidge,shiro and keith"he came over with takeing the red blanket with him."woah what happened to him,why does he have food goop on his face"keith growled and looked away"yeah ,yeah growl as much as you want ,i know you love me really"lance sat beside all off us with sleep still in his eyes."lance i think you should go to bed ,you look really, well um--" "you look like shit is what he is going to say"i intuript. "PIDGE!okay well she has a point but still ,language"

"well ill see you guys later i guess"lance leaves the room.(i dunno how to make him leaving a room interesting unless i put he skipped away like the lil gay boy for keef i know he is.)

~~~no ones POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

everyone carried on with their day ,pidge was working with coran on tha castle ,allura was with the mice,hunk and lance were hiding watching movies so they could get out of training while shiro was training.

keith however felt as if he was going to die of boredom,he felt caged in his cell ,sure there wasn't bars but there was a thick glass wall with plain white ones inside,there wasn't much he could do besides the fact sleeping or sitting around lazily,even with the different body and mindset he still had his priorities for instance,training,eating,chating and more training.

but it was like this for a week ,as no attacks were happening from the galra seeing as the gass did take out large amounts stopping the galra for a while,so everyone would be relaxing or training due to shiro trying to keep everyone sharp.it didn't feel to different without the red paladin around sometimes because he was constantly training and wasn't the one o talk to others or interact allot,when he is offered by hunk and lance to hang out he would decline or join only to leave halfway through.

keith found the loneliness boring and miserable, no one would walk by his cell that much,they had used the monitor to check on him but not physically for the most part,besides hunk to bring food,allura never dared to go near him,not out of spite or hatred but fear that she would see him not as a friend anymore but as an animal.

keith couldn't take the boredom anymore he had to get out ,it was starting to become uncomfortable being in the rooms like the walls were closing in slowly,looking there was a vent on the top of a wall to the side ,it was his new thing to do while stuck in there ,so everyday he would pick and scratch at it ,trying to pry it open anyway he could,no one noticed at all they would walk pass carrying on their day.

ayyyyy this was a fun chapter to right,a heads up keith does get through the vent,what will he do first when he is free to roam around the castle?
