chapter 25

~~~no ones POV~~~~~~

keith was wandering down the halls of the castle not really trying to go anywhere in particular.while shiro was close behind ,making sure he didn't get himself into any trouble.

keith could faintly hear a voice calling him ,he didn't know who ,or what the sound was in particular.something in the back of his head was telling him to follow,so he let himself follow the calling,completely forgetting shiro was following.

shiro noticed keith was practically spacing out,and zombieing his way down the castel due to his ears not flicking back and picking up shiro's footsteps.

~~~(time skip, i mean there isn't anything important just walking )~~~

shiro began to realize were they were going .though he didn't know how or why keith remembered the way.......

they entered the red lions hanger,as they entered red let out a soft rumble ,making the room feel warm,keith was amazed by the mechanical lion however,he was filled with the feelings of familiarity and a sense of calming.shiro stayed by the door as keith slowly walked forward.

soon he was face to face with the beast ,as she began to lower her head and open her mouth allowing her paladin in,keith looked back a little worried to shiro who only nodded to tell him it is okay. 

shiro watched as the boy slowly entered reds mouth.she waited until the boy was safely inside and proceed to go back to her original position.

inside of the red lion keith was walking into the cockpit as all the systems and lights turned on.this left him feeling dejavoo,he knew he had been here before.and that's when he heard a soft welcoming voice.

my cub..its been awhile since i've seen you 

who are you?why can't i remember who i am?  ,keith was filled with anxiety he clutched his tail close to him. he knew somehow this voice held the answers

i am the red lion ,a puzzle to form voltron and you are the red paladin someone who helps drive the puzzles together like the paladins of old had done before your time,you were infected with an a elixa the green paladin calls intoxicating mist,its seems the toxin still has a grip on your mind,if you would allow me to i can try to return some of your old memories.

keith was hesitant to reply,how would you be able to ?

as paladin and lion ,our minds are connected by a bond made through trust and time,this bond allows me to talk to you and only you,this happens with all paladins and there lions it  is sacred

then i accept,i want to remember

you may want to sit ,this may cause you some discomfort,i will have to try this every few days so i dont cause there to be an disturbance to your mind.

keith took a harsh breathe in and sat in the pilot chair,his hears were pressed firmly against his head.

relax my cub,i do not wish to cause you any harm,red released  waves of warmth throughout the cockpit,a cent of cinnamon and campfire was disbursed as well.

keith began to see memories flash in front of his eyes,all were from different ages,there was one of keith first sleeping at shiro and adams house,another was when he watched the sun set from his window.a happy memory of when he was at a restaurant with adam and they had ordered a huge ice cream he had gotten it everywhere and had to be cleaned up by adam.

keith smiled at the memory when with shiro and adam,they were the light at the end of the tunnel he was stuck in for years,they were exactly what keith needed,love and caring.

more memories were showing up,all of them had lance in,they were laughing with food in there hair,the next one was when they had a movie marathon of all of lances favorite movies,another was when they had gone to a planet witch had normal rain,lance was smiling with head up to the rain allowing it to run down freely.

and with those memories keith fallen asleep,full of fondness to the memories with lance that had awakened .

~~~shiros POV~~~~~~~~

it had been about 5 minutes and red finally brought her head down opening her mouth,there wasn't anyone leaving so i decided upon myself i should go in and check for myself that everything was okay.

as i walked in i immediately noticed keith fast asleep in the seat,the room smelled of cinnamon ,most likely red trying to calm him down,i scooped up the boy in my arms deciding to leave and take him to his room,i stepped out of the lion,i thanked her and as i left she let out a soft purr.

hewwo,the worst excuse for a hooman is back,i actually and FINALLY have a story idea,well sorta.ANYWHO i just wanna say thank you again for supporting me and this story.it means allot.until next time.
