After a long break, here's a long overdue part.
It's a bit of a change compared to the usual, although I don't feel like I did Sebastian enough justice. I don't know, tell me what you thought about it please, and I very much hope you'll like it.
Also, if any of you are The Originals fans, pm me or go over to my second account and we can cry together :C
Now onto the chapter.
Please note that this does not follow the original Reign plot line, you may however, see snippets of it.

16th century, French court.
Sebastian's point of view.
"Hey, Francis, have you seen Elizabeth recently?" I shouted jogging after my half-brother who was practically running down the hallways.
Francis stopped abruptly, turning and giving me a cold look, "why don't you ask yourself?" he replied with an ice cold tone, resuming his walk.
What is wrong with him today?
"What do you mean? What is wrong with you?" I asked again, putting a hand on his shoulder to stop him from walking any further. Now I was relentless to find out.
"As if you did not know, brother," he spat, the last word laced with venom, "Mary told me about your kiss, I saw you with my own eyes, Lizzy did too and she left after that. Why do you think she was extending her stay?" he replied, his voice tone only getting higher, obviously frustrated.
I had done that. I had caused pain not only to myself, but also to all those around me.
Francis left, while I just kept standing there like the lost guy that I was.
To be honest I was lost, when I was with Mary, I always felt my heart speed up. I was never the person to want to be royalty, I have lived with nobles my whole life, I've seen what pressure my brother is always under, and I always loved my freedom. Although I would be willing to give that up for Mary, I don't want to hurt her.
Now, when I'm with Lizzy, I just have this feeling at the bottom of my heart, like I want to hold her forever and never let her go, and my heart speeds up a million times faster.
"Well you have your answer then," a voice whispered at the back of my head.
But I don't want to hurt her, or break that bond we were slowly building. She would probably just say no if I asked for her hand, seeing as I am of lower rank.
And even if she said yes, wouldn't I be hurting Mary and Francis? Would my father be okay with marrying an Englishwoman?
I was getting more and more frustrated, the questions were too much. I turned to the nearest wall and punched it, why couldn't we live simpler lives? With no ranks or politics involved?
I quickly left and made my way to the stables. I had a bloodied hand, I had probably left a small dent in the wall, but I didn't care, I needed to clear my head.
I jumped on my favourite horse and rode through the night, anything I had to do could just wait for now.
