Jonas made his way down the bustling streets of azakaria. It was a city far off to the north, crime wasn't as big of an issue as it was in some of the other kingdoms inside of the land of Eurotheria. Jonas was about five nine in height, and he had black hair. He was about twenty-five In age and was a dashing example of the male
Species, his eyes were Chocolate brown and he had two small sized axes on his back.

Azakaria had been his home since well lord Malik had come into power, it was a domain under less of Malik's influence and control. As such it frequently had less crime and was often used to hide young sorcerers from Malik. Malik passed Azakaria as useless when he found out the amount of magical energy in the surrounding area was extremely low compared to all of the other kingdoms of Eurotheria.

However, this meant wizards or witches, hiding here from the dark warlock who some dare to call lord were relatively powerless, the most they can conjure the simplest and smallest of spells. Some could say this attribute made it an unintelligible hiding place. However, it also made it one of the best hiding places, as Malik would never suspect a witch or wizard to purposely live somewhere that dampened their powers. Nonetheless, all the kingdoms were searched monthly on a certain schedule, a certain schedule if learned that could be used to great advantage.

Jonas was a warrior and one you paid for at that, you could suppose that makes him a mercenary but he didn't like that name. Even though most had to pay for assistance, he would step help those unable to pay who are less fortunate. But he could see through most lies, a gift maybe? Or just a talent? He was good at noticing traits of a liar, such as indirect eye contact, nervously looking around, not being able to keep a straight face, or nervously fiddling with an object.

Of course, nothing would have prepared Jonas for what he was currently doing. He didn't want to hurt the lass but he also knew to steal all the money From a vendor was just wrong. "Come on down, I shalt not harm you, thief, you shalt be punished but not according to the law as the law is unjust and wicked because of the dark lord"

"No'!" The female Said irritably as she stood on the roof leaning on part of the higher area of the roof. "You shall not fool me, I have heard of you Jonas the dual Axe wielder, you call yourself a warrior but you are no more than a mercenary, someone who sells his skills off for money. How shalt I know you haven't come for my head, after all, I am but a thief and have pissed off many
People" she crossed her arms as she brought up the point with a wicked grin.

Jonas rubbed his face with his hand, it tracing over a scar from
A dagger on the left side of his face. "I do not wish to hurt you only to right the wrong you have done, this can go peacefully or not peacefully and I rather not spill the blood of a maiden"

"And spill my blood you shall not, for you have to catch me first, mercenary," Jessica said the word untrustingly and distastefully which she didn't really have reason to trust him. She took off making her way from
Rooftop to rooftop, she was smart, fast, and a good climber. The warrior wouldn't catch her, her job after all was not to be caught. She jumped across a few more buildings and then made her way down concealing herself in the shadows of the alley as Jonas ran by.

Jessica began to count her earnings for today, well really how much she stole. It was a decent amount. Seven gold coins and a few pieces of silver, along with a watch designed for a noble. She took off down the opposite direction of the alley from where Jonas had gone only to find herself slammed into the hard brick wall of the building by none other than Jonas. "Now then where were we oh thief," he said snatching the bag from her. "I'm returning this back to where it belongs, I suggest you leave, and maybe find a new job" he breathed into the nape of her neck before letting her go and walking away as she took off behind him. He walked back up to the vendor and returned the bag of coins. "Here you go, good sir."

"Thank you Jonas, here are the three silver shillings as promised" the vendor took three of the silver shillings out of the bag and gave it to Jonas who happily accepted the reward before going back to his day to day business. One of the things he couldn't get out of his head was the thief's voice, she had a slight accent and to him, her voice sounded almost angelic.

Jessica sat near the bridge almost completely out of town as she caught her breath, sure she was disappointed, that she had been caught and the money returned to the vendor. But at least the warrior didn't turn her into the authorities. A smirk rose to her face as she pulled the bag from her other pocket, And she still had that money from
Stealing from the Noble.
