Steve was going ballistic. He couldn't wrap his head around this world with no Avengers. For ten years he fought villains and saved the world, but now he was learning it was all a dream. The doctor came in and immediately suggested therapy. "Do you think it will help?" Tony asked, with tears moistening his eyes.

"It may. It seems like he's under a lot of psychological stress. It may take some time." Peter walked over to his Pops and sat on the bed. "So you really don't remember me?"

"Of course I do. You're Spiderman. I still don't understand how you are alive." Peter fell into his arms and began to sob. He feared he would never get his Pops back now. Like he was really gone forever. Tony came over and pulled him off of a confused Steve. "Pete, we better be getting home. Let's let him rest."

After a few days, the doctor cleared Steve to go home with Tony and Peter. Steve was asking lots of questions as they pulled up to the house. "This isn't Stark Tower?"

"No, Steve. This is our house. Stark Tower does not exist." They brought him into the house and pulled out a few large scrapbooks. They showed him photos of their wedding, vacations, and things like that to refresh his broken memory. He recognized the people in the photos, but they weren't the same people he remembered them by. "Hey, that's Black Widow!"

"No, Steve. That's our friend Natasha." It went on on and like this for hours and Tony was worried that he'd never remember.
