Steve slowly opened his eyes, unsure of what was going on. He made out a hazy image of a bunch of doctors. Am I in the hospital? He tried, but couldn't remember what had happened. Last thing he remembered was him and the other Avengers trying to reverse what Thanos had done. He looked around and saw someone he recognized. It was Tony. Steve was about to speak to him, but a doctor pulled him outside. After a few minutes, the doctors left and Tony and Peter stepped into the room. "Hey, Steve."
Steve was frantic. "Tony! What happened? Was it Thanos? Did we stop him? Peter! I thought you turned into dust, how did you get back?" Tony and Peter gave him a confused look.
"Steve, what are you talking about? Who's Thanos?"
"Tony, come on. He got all the Infinity Stones, remember? And everyone turned to dust, and we were trying to fix it." Tony began to cry, realizing his husband had gone completely insane. "Tony, why are you crying? Where are the Avengers?"
"W-what are the Avengers?" Steve was becoming angry. Why didn't Tony remember?
"Come on, you're Ironman, I'm Captain America, and Peter's Spiderman. And we're the Avengers, don't you remember?"
"Steve, you've been in a coma for ten years. Captain America, Ironman...they don't exist. I'm Tony, your husband. And this is Peter, our son. Don't you remember that?" Steve was confused. Tony Stark was his husband? No, this couldn't be.
"So you're saying, all this time I've been asleep?"
