"What you're saying is, if a guy is thirty and single, he has standards. If a girl is thirty and single, she has issues?" Cate said through the mic.

"No, I'm saying all women in their thirty have issues. Single or not. Look at Alison. She's back from vacation."

"Leave me out of this."

"Alice is married and she's just as screwed up as you are." Ryan stated.

"I take offense to that. It's not easy being married. It's hard. The responsibility, the monogamy."

"The lack of sex." Cate but's in.

"Pathetic." Baze said.

He was in his apartment looking at his bank account on his computer.

"What?" Jamie asked.

"My bank account."

"Join the club. You still owe me from last week."

"Dude, we gotta get some customers. My own children gave up their life savings to pay the bars rent."

"Good morning." Harry said.

"Morning kid."

"What's for breakfast?"

Baze looks around the kitchen before grabbing the loaf of bread.

"Toast!?"

Harry looks up at Baze.

"You serious."

"Sorry kid. We don't have much here."

"It's fine. I'll just head to Cate's. She has to have some decent food I can cook."

"Hey, why'd you stay here anyway."

"Ryan and Cate. We heard them last night." Lux soon entered the room.

Baze and Jamie both made a face.

"My poor children." Baze said.

Harry and Lux laughed.

"We're off." Harry said a few hours later.

"See ya." Lux catches up with her brother.

"Lux! Come sit with us."

Lux looks at Harry to see if he was okay with it and Harry nods before grabbing his phone and texting Tasha.

"Go ahead. I'll see you after school?"

Lux nods before going into her class with a few girls she's met on her first day to Westmonte. One of which she sold the bong lamp to and lied about where she got it from.

"I can't believe your parents just let you run around San Francisco all summer. Mine were making me take and SAT prep course."

"Which was a waste. Didn't your score go down fifteen points? And is that where you met Jerry Garcia and got his bong lamp from?"

"Yeah." Lux lies.

"You mean my bong lamp soon to be Joneses? He'll flip when I give it to him."

"Better hope your parents don't find it. You'll be grounded for life."

"That's why I put it in my locker. Hey, You want to come over to my house today? You can stay the night if you like."

"Yeah!" Lux said.

"I thought I was staying the night tonight?"

"You always stay. It's Lux turn. I'll even let you put your things in my car before school tomorrow."
