Storm Weathered

It was a rainy day in Portland.

Ryan and Cate were at home in bed today while they played the best of Cate and Ryan on morning madness.

Ryan wakes up to see Cate smiling at him.

"Good morning."

"The best of Cate and Ryan." Cate said.

"I got the best right here." Ryan caresses her cheek before kissing her.

Meanwhile with Baze and Abby, she was putting her clothes in his dresser before he wakes up and sees her.

"What are you doing?"

"Just making some room for some of my stuff. Do you mind if my socks mix in with your boxers?"

"You moving in?" Baze questions her.

"Just onto the top dresser. It's cool, the dresser."

"You know what would be even cooler?" Baze smirks as he lifts up the cover.

Abby smiles before jumping into bed.

Cate walks into her room with a tray before Ryan spots her.

"Wow. They always talk about make up sex but never make up breakfast."

"Well it's not all edible." Cate lifts up the tray and shows Ryan the engagement ring box.

"This may be a record. Ryan, will you
marry me?" Cate asked as she opens the tiny box.

Ryan nods before kissing Cate passionately.

"I just don't think it's a good idea." Lux says to Harry.

"Look, I know we screwed shit up with him, I just want to make it right."

"Harry-" Lux sighs.

"We're doing this Lux! Besides, he's really sweet and didn't deserve that bomb shell about Bug being back. We have to make it right Lux. It's the right thing to do."

Lux groans before nodding.

The twins walk up to Jones car.

"Hi." Lux gets his attention.

Jones looks at the both of them and rolls his eyes.

"Silent treatment. Very effective." Harry states.

"Look, We're sorry okay? About the winter formal." Harry and Lux follow him after he walks away.

"Which part are you sorry about? That you came with me or that you left with your boyfriend?"

"Hey! Your parents still going out of town this weekend?"

"Yeah, they leave at four o'clock."

"Right on!"

"So the liquor cabinet will be raided at four 'o' five?" Harry asked.

"Am I that predictable?" Jones smiles.

"In a word? Yeah." Lux smiles back.

"Look, I'm having some people over tonight if you want to stop by. You can even bring your boyfriends It'll be great to see them again." Jones says sarcastically before walking away.

"The perfect wedding?" Ryan asked as he looks at Cates laptop.

"Mmhmm, according to this web site, anyone can have the perfect wedding by following this easy checklist."

"Two hundred and fifty items? Why can't we just order barbecue and wing it?"

"You just said barbecue and wing it."

"Okay, set wedding date."

"Check. June twenty six."
