Chapter 8

Izzy's POV

  I was so relieved when Clary opened the door. The first house we went to was, well, the wrong house. A lady had opened the door and started freaking out. Don't know why, she just did.

  Seeing Clary is amazing. Having a Parabati takes a toll on you. Especially when they are in a different country. Her being near me gets me to relax a bit.

  And did I mention, HOLY SHIZ! CLARYS DAUGHTER IS SO CUTE! She is just so small but she is so smart which makes her adorable!

  Jace must think so too, because he is just sitting there with this weird smile on his face. For years he'd be sitting around the house just staring off into space. One time, that girl that he slept with would stop by. He had opened the door then slammed it. And broke down in tears.

  That's basically when we forgave him. He was just so heartbroken.

  I heard the slapping of feet running and Clary yelling for the person to slow down. A body flew past the doorway then stopped and slowly backed up.

  A lady walked into the room probably about 25 and started squealing and jumping up and down. Clary came into the room and started to introduce us to her.

  "Hello! I'm Penelope Hallo, and I own this institute/orphanage. As you heard from Cece, Carter is my son. I also have a daughter named Leila. If your going to be staying, Clary could probably show you your rooms. Clary?" The lad- I mean, Penelope said.

  We looked at Clary. She had one of those I'm so sorry! Looks on her face.

  "I can't," she said. "I have to get ready for that party later. Hey, you guys could come. But I'll call the kids to show them."

She whistled and just like that they were there. Cece was standing with a boy who I presumed was Carter.

  He had a brown mop of hair and a boat load of freckles on his face. In all, he was the cutest little boy EVER!

Cece came over and grabbed my hand.

  "Come on" she said.

  Don't kill me! I guess I haven't been too inspired to write lately. I'm going too try my hardest too finish the two fanfics I have going because I have two new book ideas!
