Chapter 3

Magnus's POV

I hear a doorbell. As I walk to the door, I hear Alec waking up.

When I open the door I see a postal man waiting for me. I sign the paper.

The package is extremely small. I'm about to open it when a note catches my eye.
Its says " MAGNUS PLEASE READ!"

I open the note and gasp. Its from Clary. We haven't seen her in weeks.

All the note says is to not open the package, and to invite the list of people over that she gave me. She says their is a note for everyone in the bundle that came with the package.

Alec walks out of the bedroom.

" What's going on baby?" he asks. I tell him its from Clary and the gathering we need to have.

He goes and starts to invite everyone over.

( still Magnus's POV)

Everyone is sitting in my apartment. We have Luke, Jocelyn, Isabelle, Simon, Marsye, and Max. Then curled up in a small ball in the corner on the room is Jace. He's been a mental wreck. He can't go out anymore cause all of a sudden he'll start crying.

We feel bad. Yet we all know why she left. I think its pretty shallow that he had sex with another girl. And while Clary was in the same building.

"Why are we here?" Isabelle asks.

" I got a package today," I say looking at them.

" Its from Clary"

With that everyone starts asking Questions. Then everyone goes silent. I see why.

Jace has stood up and is walking. I mean, all he does is lay around anymore.

He sits in the middle of our circle. He's looking at me intently, Waiting for me to continue.

" She wrote letters for everyone," I say. " And she also has a package for Isabelle"

I give everyone their letters. Some people start crying or laughing. But Jace concerns me. He's just strong there. So I go over to him.

" Do you want me to read it to you?" I ask.

He nods.

" Dear Jace,

Did you know I walked in on you that night. I have two things to remember that night by now. One, the night me and Isabelle became Parabati. Two, the night you broke my heart. Yet, I can't bring myself to hate you. I still love you. But obviously, you don't love me. Don't feel bad, its OK. I wanted to let you know that I will never forget you. I !am sure of it. I won't love again," I say. I look over at Jace and see him crying. Poor guy. I notice everyone is listening to me read Jaces note. Yet I don't get the last part.

" For part of you will always be there with me.

Love,

Your Clarissa Fairchild"

I can't believe it. Jace actually speaks.

" What does she means that mean? I'll always be there with you?"

Suddenly, Isabelle shrieks.

" I found your answer," she stats. " She's 5 weeks"

" What about 5 weeks?" Luke asked.

" This says shes 5 weeks Pregnant"
