I opened my eyes again and i was still in the hospital. I groaned and rubbed my head. I have an ear-splitting headache. He was still here. He sat at my bed side and looked up at me when he heard me groan.

"Just take it easy." He told me as he stroked my cheek.

"Why are you still here? Who are you?" I asked him again

"I'm Kayne. Nice to meet you. Well not like this but...yeah."

"Why are you still here?" I asked again.

He shook his head and sighs. "Do you want me to leave?"

"Yes!" I told him,angrily.

"Well I'm not, until i know you're okay." He said touching my cheek again, i flinched away at the feeling of his affection. I don't need any pity.

"I can handle myself." His light brown eyes suddenly turned dark.

"Okay. If thats what you want I'll leave. Get well soon. " He stood up, kissed my forehead, and walked out. The doctor knocked on my door and came in.

"Ms. Johnson ? Oh you're finally awake. Where did that young man go?" He asked.

"He left." I shrugged.

"Well you should thank that young man. He practically saved your life. You were losing a lot of blood , if he hadn't brought you here when he did you would have been dead. Now on to the cause of your bleeding... You had a miscarriage."

My eyes bugged out of my head I'm sure. A-a miscarriage? Me and Chris would have had a child together? And i lost it? That poor baby. All because of me. After the doctor left out of the room , i rubbed my stomach.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I kept saying as tears started to roll down my face again as i rubbed my stomach over and over.
