Singing Strings

Eurydice that stubborn child
Left with another to the daring world
Enchanted by his magic
Followed him through
So sacrificed her life
Reality dead
Corpse sent
Underground
Where Haydes chants and welcome the wretched soul,

Eurydice youthful in her beauty
Captured love
Bestowed her wings upon his eyes
'Oh what a blessing' he told
Orpheus,
Through webs of chemical imbalance
Held my strings
And strumed
Then she came following the tunes
Of the willow who was numb
Painful but beautiful
Chaotic but soothing
Choas in the mass of order
My songs played along with his sonnets
The poems of love
The music of affection

Amor, smiled and wept in his world
Now they loved and loved until the morning daylight

Where ever, they said, there is light there is darkness
The musician strumed my strings no more
Dust floated about the ashen memory
While he loved her, forgot about me
His first lover
His first friend
His first ally
Yet turn his back
Betrayed my trust
Forgot about my sounds
Silent the birds chirp
By the wooden window
Still in it's form

Finds himself in disorder
Corrupted with this woman
Who loved him
She betrayed
Relapsed to pity.
Finally strumed my strings
Finally got him back
Now he is all mine
But
His
Tears
Wept
Screamed
Kept
Locked
Screeched
Bled
Held
Until...
He broke
Nearly towards
The edge of nothing
Towards Mr Reaper
Who swallowed souls,

The ally broke
I knew the war I had lost
Heard of the journey
Towards Haydes realm
Towards the lion's send
Towards the foe's den
(Not much for me, an accomplice he might be, eradicated my rival and gave my lover to me)

Glance towards his gaze
Then strumed my strings
There is the music of the world
The songs of sorrow
Woe to them all
Those who fought for the gaze of a lover
No one to replace her even more
Haydes gave her to him
Told him never look back
Instead walk through it blind
Walk through the fields out of sight
A warning it is

But he turned
Vanquished air
Extinct she became
Never to be
Seen ever in this world
Now she is gone
Now he is empty
Continue playing my strings
Until they stoned him him free
Broke my strings
And his lungs
Broke the woods of protection
And his bones
What happened next you might ask?
Why! he is already dead
Broken lungs
Breathless corpse
Broken bones
Hapless limbs
Shuttered heart
Torn soul

He wept until and played the strums
Until his tears turn to dust
Ashening his form
Ashening my strings
Goodbye my love
Farewell to you
Pity you
I did
But now
Help can not come anymore
I died beside you
Drowning depth ocean,
When I may awake
May you be happier
And merrier than when you grew with me.
