You & I

Chapter 2

Lunch~

My favorite part of the day comes; Lunch. I have my lunch packed so I go outside where they have a patio to have lunch. They're always the cafeteria but I like eating outside better.

Instead of eating lunch with Anna, she's off doing who knows what. I walk outside and I find an open table. I sit down and set my lunch on the table. I'm having a turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes. For a side I'm having grapes.

I bite into my sandwhich and I sigh. It's boring eating alone. I mean, I do have other friends but Anna is my closest friend. We do everything together. 

I take another bite into the sandwhich and I feel a tap on my shoulder. I jump and turn around; It's Harry. I kinda feel happy at the fact he here but I still feel uncomfortable about what happend this summer.

"Hey" he smiles. 

"Hi" I say with an extremely wide grin. Maybe I shouldn't because after all I am eating. 

"Can I sit?" He askes. I nod my head.

I continue to eat my sandwich but I can't stop staring at him. He brought a slice of pizza to eat. I watch every single feature of him. The way his green eyes light up and the way he has his brown curly hair pushed back. The way that he bites into the pizza.

"Like what you see?" He chuckles. Shit! I didn't think he would notice. I giggle and try to laugh it off like nothing happend.

"Can I just say, your very beautiful." He says.

"Thanks." I smile.

"Uhm, so about what happend this summer.." He startes to say. He's trying to bring up the kiss.

"Oh don't worry about that." I say assuring him.

"Are you sure? I shouldn't have done that" He says.

"I'm sure." I say nodding my head.

"Unless you wanted me to." He smirks. I can't help but smile.

"Yeah sure" I say laugh.

We continue to talk for awhile and finish our lunch with 15 minutes to spare intill the period ends. I didn't see Anna during the whole period but I'm kinda glad I didn't. Harry put me in a great mood. He's funny, charismatic, and cheeky. 

"So, what do you wanna do now?" Harry askes.

"I don't know but we have 15 minutes to spare intill next period." I say.

"Wanna go outside of the school?" He says. I nearly choke when he said that.

"Are you crazy?!" I say.

"What? I didn't say go far away from school. We'll be back in time for next period." He says. I try to think about this before I speak.

"Okay but it depends on where we are going." I say.

"C'mon, you'll see where I'm taking you" He says while getting up. I grab my book bag and I take off where ever Harry was taking me.

We arrive at a park not to far away from the school. Harry grabs my hand and leads me to a little trail. My heart raced at the sudden gesture.

We continued to follow the trail for about 2 minutes and we arrived at a lake. The water was glistening. It was a beautiful sight but it was kinda stranded.

"Here we are." Harry says still not letting go of my hand.

"It's beautiful. I never knew this park had a lake." I say.

"Yeah. Not a lot of people come here. That's why I like it. It's peaceful." He says.

"Yeah" I say agreeing with him.

He starts to walk towards a tree with shade. He points to the ground signaling for me to sit. I sit on the grass with him in the shade.

"Isn't this nice?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say. "Hey look a swan!"

"Yeah, lots of pretty birds come over here. I saw a blue Jay once." He says.

"Really?!" I ask in amazement.

"Yup." He says. After that the conversation kinda dies.

"Hey, you wanna play a game?" I ask trying to start a conversation.

"Sure what kind of game?" He asks.

"I don't know." I say.

"How about tag?" He says.

"Really?" I say giggling at his choice.

"Yeah" He says while getting up. He stretches his hand in front of me indicating to grab it.

I grab his hand and he helps me up. The clouds roll over the sun. Perfect, now I won't be hot while running.

"Tag your it" I say while laughing. I try to run as fast as I can but Harry catches up to me.

He taps my shoulder and starts to run away. I chase his running as fast as I can and he stops and turns around. By the time I try to stop running I fall on top off him. I giggle and then we had eye to eye contact only. Staring at each other with no words. Our faces were so close to each other. 

He leans in and I can't help to lean in to. Our lips connected and once again I felt sparks. His soft pink lips felt good on mine. He cupped my cheek and pulled me in closer. His touch ignited the fire inside of me. No word could explain how great it felt to kiss him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and then I realized what I was doing. 

I stop the kiss and both of our eyes open. We were both speechless. I rolled off of him and got up. After I got up he did the same. I pulled out my phone and saw that we're 10 minutes late for class.

"Harry we're late." I say trying to avoid what just happened between us.

"Uhm ok let's go." He says.

We begin to walk towards the trail. I can't stop thinking about what just happened. That was the second time. We're not even going out.

"Uhm Rose," He says.

"Yeah." I say.

"H-How did you feel about what just happened?" He stutters. I can tell he's nervous. But I am as well.

"It felt .. uhm.. good" I say.

"Oh. I'm sorry it happend, I just couldn't help myself. Your just so beautiful." He says. My heart skipped a beat when he said that. I couldn't help blushing.

I know he said that to me already but he's the first boy that ever said that to me. Boys never thought of me in that way.

"Thank you." I say smiling. 

"We should hurry, it looks like it's going to rain." He says.

"Yeah" I say picking up my pace.
