I finished up the chapter I was reading in this new book I started last week. Some romance novel, that actually wasn't too dramatic and had me hooked. I finished up my tea and went inside, setting the cup in the sink. I sighed and decided to clean the dishes before bed. It kind of relaxes me, even after I have drank tea and read for a little while.
After I was finished, I wiped off my hands and went into my bedroom. I opened up my laptop, checking tumblr scrolling through my feed. Most of it was quotes or random pictures of things. Then, I was done, I pulled up a relaxing spotify playlist on my phone, then set it down. I changed into a loose shirt and some pajama shorts. I turned around, turning off my lights and pulling back the covers.

In the morning, I heard knocking at my door. I groaned, throwing a pillow at the door that was now opening revealing my dad.
"Daddy- daughter day Morgan, come on let's go", he smiled. I huffed, then got up rubbing my eyes looking at my alarm clock. 9:30! Ugh, come on Dad you have to be kidding me. To answer your question, no I am not a morning person, especially during summer.
A half an hour later, I was done getting ready so I grabbed my phone and followed my dad out to the car.

We spent the rest of the day at he mall and going fishing just to even out the deal. We went to his favorite place by a camp site that lets him fish there, its catch and release but he enjoys it and it's not too bad.
When we arrived at the lake, I hopped out of the truck and looked around. There were many cabins and I saw a few other middle aged men sitting around. Once we finished setting up we sat and waited. I felt my phone buzz a few minutes later with a text from Michael.
'i see you(:'
'um?'
Then I realized, he is camping this weekend, he must be here. Real convienent.
'i am here camping and i saw you'
'oh i got it, well hi'
'have fun fishing, luke and calum are coming to say hi'
'why don't you?'
'fine. i will be there in a few.'
I locked my phone then looked over at my dad apologetically. "Sorry, my friend is here and he just wants to say hi, if that's okay?"
"Well, I was going to te-", he then shook his head,"sure".
I furrowed my eyebrows but nodded, tapping my feet. I got so zoned out just lookin out at the water, I was so oblivious to hearing Michael walking up. He tapped my shoulder and I turned around.
"Oh, sorry", I laughed,"hi". I stood up and he just hugged me, I awkwardly wrapped my arms around him and pulled back.
"Um, hi. I would be her father", my dad held his hand out to Michael. Michael nodded.
"Nice to meet you", he smiled. My dad nodded suspiciously watching him.
"Oh Dad he isn't too too bad, don't worry", I said.
"You don't know that, but okay", he said backing down looking back at his pole.
"So", Michael said putting his hands in his pocket,"it was nice seeing you, see you around?"
"Of course", I smiled. He walked away and I sat back down sighing. My dad was smiling but didn't look at me.
"Oh shush".

Later in the day when we got home, I went and sat on my bed but my dad called me back into the livingroom. I saw my mom sitting there and my dad holding her hand, she looked upset.
"Guys, if this is about Michael, we are just friends, it's not like it will go anywhere and don't worry I already know about that "talk" and I will be more careful just because that jerk came into my life and-"
My dad interrupted,"Morgan. I am going back to Afghanistan."
