Today I get back to my old life. It's a Monday, and it was drizzling here. I plugged in my headphones and went on pandora to Lana del Rey's station. Following my mom, I looked around and tugged on the sleeve of my sweater.
She opened the front door and we stepped out onto the side walk. She had brought up the car and I saw my dad sitting there looking down, anxiously gripping the steering wheel. I opened the back door and got in and his head turned quickly. "Oh my gosh, my darling, how are you?", he searched my eyes.
"I am okay dad."
He nodded then started the car, I saw my mom with her head in her hands probably tired because she packed all last night excited I was coming home.
I looked out the window watching the trees pass, and then I saw the familiar street.
I tiredly got out and rubbed my eyes, then offering help to my mom. She had refuses and led me in.
I looked around and suddenly I heard a bark, I grinned and saw my puppy run in. She wagged her tail and was panting in my face. I petted her and then I got up and walked into the room. My room.
Everything was untouched and I sat on my bed, finally having comfort. I kicked off my shoes and didn't even bother to change, I just wanted sleep.
