School was over and the weekend just began and I hurried over to Lanie's house after coming home. We lived in the same neighborhood so I could walk a few blocks to her house. I mean she didn't live close but she didn't live far. The weather was beautiful today so I was gonna walk. I went home first to put my book bag down and grabbed my overnight bag. I don't think my mom or Zane was here but after being in my room, Zane popped in on me. "I just wanted to say be careful this weekend and have lots of fun", Zane said sincerely. She almost walked away until I said something. "Hey Zane look I'm sorry I been a brat but I never knew another woman could make a woman feel like a man could or better", I said. "Well women do know women better but it's still stressful being with the same sex but we have less drama than the gay guys." I laughed at that and agreed because I had a gay friend who did the most. They had all the tea and wasn't shit you didn't know. "Yeah Zane I know but I don't wanna see my mom hurt again", I said with a sad look. "Look I love your mom I don't wanna hurt her I love her way too much I can't put her through what your dad did." I looked at Zane with a twinkle in my eye and felt some way.
I had to hurry up and get my stuff and leave. "Thanks Zane for the talk", I said hurrying down the steps. Lawd have mercy she is even more fine up close. I don't know why she made me feel the way I was feeling but I had to go. I see why Lanie says all that nasty stuff that she wanna do with Zane. I just laugh at her when she talks about Zane nonstop. Sometimes it grosses me out but she's my friend lol. I guess I have to just listen to her go on and on about her. Anyways I hurried and walked to Lanie's house and finally made it in like 15 minutes. It was hot but I was okay and put my bags down and went into the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. "Lanie I'm here bitch", I yelled hoping her parents weren't home. She came downstairs in some booty shorts and a tank top with her boobs falling halfway out of it. "Girl put them boobs up", I said laughing. "I'm tryna let Zane see these boobs girl", Lanie said. "Oh my gosh leave her alone before my mom beats you up", I said. "Shit I'm really scared of your mom though", she said. "Well my mom scares me too but I know she means well." Lanie nodded her head and plopped down on the couch. "My parents gone all week bitch and I need a girlfriend I been sexually frustrated", Lanie said twirling her hair.
"TMI keep that shit to yourself, I'm still a virgin so I know nothing bout sex", I said shrugging my shoulders. "Oh damn I forgot girl my bad", she said with a smirk. I gave her the middle finger and she gon say I don't fuck your type. I rolled my eyes and played on my phone because I was bored and whatever Lanie was watching on tv was boring. I got on POF and started looking through different guy profiles and some of them looked good. The real fine ones stayed far away just like how Lanie was telling me. I didn't care I needed to find me somebody to take my mind off my mom's girlfriend smh. I feel bad for even thinking about her but she makes me feel special. I don't mean it in that sense but y'all know exactly what I mean. I had butterflies in my stomach when she came around and I don't even know why. I know I was much too young for her and she would never look at me in that way. Anyways I was still strolling on my phone and thought why am I even over here. "Hey look ima go back to the house for a while I don't feel so good I might see you in school Monday", I said. "Yeah you look sick girl feel better I'll text you later or I might be by later", Lanie said. I knew exactly why she might be by later too smh.
