calum thomas hood: are you here?

jenn: yeah. i'll just be a second

calum thomas hood: okay. i'm coming in so be quick because i think there's a couple fans here and the last thing we need right now is luke's ex girlfriend being seen with his bandmate

calum thomas hood: sorry that was harsh. i'm by the washrooms on the arrivals

jenn: no i get it. and okay i'll be there in a second

after taking the escalator down, i saw calum leaning against the wall near the men's washroom and my heart melted. i missed him more than i'd realized.

he looked up and saw me.

immediately, i bolted toward him and ran into his arms. tightly, calum pulled me into a hug, wrapping his muscular arms around my shoulders as mine were around his waist. i began sobbing into his chest quite embarrassingly, but i didn't care. it was calum, for fuck's sake.

"fuck, jenn."

"i'm sorry. i'm so sorry," i mumbled, hiccuping. he was silent, just running his fingers through my hair as he held me tightly. he smelled of mint and lavender as i cried into his maroon tee shirt.

"c'mon, let's go. people are taking pictures."

pulling away, i looked around and realized that there had been a couple — more like fifty — fans, watching us with their eyes as i practically bawled my eyes out in public. in the tokyo international airport. what the fuck was i doing in tokyo?

i pulled my grey hood over my head — luke's hoodie, actually — and followed calum as he gave quick little waves to fans but told them that he couldn't talk for very long. we headed out and i collapsed into his black suv, and immediately began sobbing again. how did i have any tears left? i wondered.

we drove to a hotel that i figured the boys were staying at and calum led me upstairs to his room with michael. he told me that luke had 'refused to stay with calum' after everything that happened and i understood.

"hey, jenn!" michael said cheerily as we stepped into the room, but his smile faded once he realized my facial expression.

"hi, mikey."

we sat on the couch, my head on calum's chest as michael filled us in on what had happened while we were at the airport. it wasn't much, just that after the concert (that they didn't end up having to cancel) and thankfully luke was seemingly decent. but he went straight to his room after and wouldn't talk to anybody. he even locked ashton out of his own room, earning a small chuckle from calum but i elbowed him afterwards.

"so he's in ashton and his room right now then?"

michael nodded and i sighed. calum continued to comb his fingers through my hair and i bit my lip. then i asked, "where's ashton?"

"he went down to grab some ice or something from vending machines," michael said.

i sat up, earning stares from the two boys.

"i think i'm gonna go talk to him," i said. michael frowned as calum furrowed his eyebrows together. "i don't know how though."

"he might let you in if he hears your voice," michael said and calum shook his head small.

"i don't think so. try getting a key from the front desk?" calum asked. "go find ash and get him to take you down."

so we did that. after hugging michael and calum goodbye and setting off down the hallway, i found ashton walking back and immediately was accepted into his arms welcomingly.

"everything okay?"

"i'm not sure. do you think we could grab a spare key from the front desk?" i asked, chewing my nails. "luke probably won't let me in if he doesn't to you guys."

"okay," ashton nodded, his curly hair bouncing. i missed ashton a lot too.

ten minutes later and i was standing outside room 1207.
