I've been using an old notebook as a journal recently, and even though it's not really communicating with anyone, it is a good outlet to organize my thoughts on paper when I don't have a phone to do so, or to distract me from doing so.
My parents take my phone at midnight, and I just got my laptop today so I'm not sure if they'll be taking this too, but if not I'll probably be writing in this book a lot more as I have an obsession with typing on an actual keyboard and wattpad is surprisingly not blocked this year.
as I'm writing this, I have a mere 10 days until school starts- the beginning of sophomore year. And I've gotta admit, I'm a lot more excited than nervous, which is weird for a teenager to say about school probably. But sitting in classrooms and doing shit for 8 hours a day is better than sitting in my room on my phone and watching Netflix constantly. I prefer getting out of the house anyway.
The night before school starts, I'll be writing a new book on my profile- summarizing my freshman year and my summer. Things I experienced, learned, how I grew, and advice I would give to people put in the places I was once in. I'll try to make this an annual occurrence, but we all know how bad I am at keeping those types of promises.
I hope you enjoy everything coming in the future, because hopefully it will be a lot.
