You got to see Shannon, next is Ashley. Excuse my spelling and bad grammar please. Thanks :)

Ring. That’s the bell. I grab my stuff and head to my locker. Ashley walks up to me and I smile.

“I got so much to tell you.” I whisper.

“Yeah so do I.” she replied,

“Mr. Kent Dreamy likes you.”

I nod, “no.”

“Operation Eric.”

“Oh yeah, how’s that going?” she asks.

“GREAT, I already have three dates with him. You never texted me step three so I made it, ‘Play Hard to Get’ and it worked.” I said.

She smiled, “Exactly what it is.”

I shut my locker, with all my Algebra Stuff in my hands. Kent. No way, he can’t make a move. Operation Eric is going so well. I am sticking to this. I have a concert tonight and a sort date on Friday and a huge date on Sunday. My mom would be so proud to know I am going out. I enter Algebra 2 to see Luke and he smiles at me and then flips his gorgeous hair. He is trying to kill me. I sit down in my seat.

“Looks like we have a new student!” said Mrs. Thornton. I smile and stand,

“Same old Shannon.” And she smiles at me. She turns to right something on the board, POP QUIZ.

I turned to Luke and smile and quickly tell him what is going to be on the quiz. He thanks me and smiles. She hands out the quizzes and to my luck, exactly what I predicted. I finish the quiz quickly and hand it in. Luke smiles at me again, his teeth so white. He is handsome. Like swinging on a swing during a windy day, when the sun is setting, knowing you have to go home soon, and slowing down and feeling like you’re going in slow motion and you capture the beauty of the sun setting before your eyes, that’s how I feel when I look at Lucas Matthews. I feel a tap,

Thanks so much, I think I might have done well for once.

Passing notes, again?

What you don’t like that?

I never said that.

What is that only for girls?

No, you just really want to talk to me.

Well I can’t really talk to you during the concert.

This is true. But you also have Friday and of course, Sunday.

That is so far away. Oh by the way, I bought box tickets, so we eat dinner too.

Not uh?! That is amazing, thanks.

Yup. Anything for you.

Who was originally going to go with you?

Some annoying cheerleader who was desperate enough to go. But I didn’t want to have to make out with someone through the whole concert, I’m glad you like them too, so it will be fun.

You wouldn’t make out with me?

Of course I would, and I would mean it. But I want to also enjoy the concert that I paid for you know?
