Picture of Shannon coming soon, having techincal difficulties.

Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. I can’t believe it. Lucas Matthews just picked me out of all the girls. He picked me and picked me first. I thought I would have to go with Kent, who I bumped into this morning. How awful would that be? Mhm. Not so awful because I can bump into Luke’s gorgeous body as I steal the ball from him. He can get beat by a girl too. I image the rush I will get when that happens. Shall I even continue? Maybe I shouldn’t.

“Shannon.” He said with a smirk.

I smile at him like I knew this would happen. I was dying inside. I had to show off my skills. I made more goals than him. Him and the handsome left striker combined. I even bumped him, cant wait to tell Ashley in the locker room.

“ I CANT BELIEVE HE DUMPED ME FOR WHITE TRASH LIKE YOU.” She yelled at me.

 Of course it’s Miss. Popular.

“Why are you talking about yourself? Because if you haven’t gotten the memo, I’m Irish and Puerto Rican, get it right, the only white trash around here is you.”

I say with a smirk and walk away as she gasps. He dumped her? For me? No way! No way! He doesn’t like me yet. Nope. I can’t wait for History. Then Algebra 2, this day is going to be great. I put my dress back on and walk out. Who would of ever guessed? No one. Amazing. I take my hair out of the ponytail and braid it back into a French braid and spray perfume on. I walk to my locker and see him and he smiles. I turn open my locker and I wonder what I should do next. I need to ask Ashley. I grab my History book. World History is my favorite. Greek History is just amazing. I am proud to be 1/3 Greek. I have pride for my country. One of the many. I wonder what Lucas is. I’m going to call him Lucas, he probably doesn’t like it.

“What a coincidence, I have History too. I’ll walk you.” He smiled as he spoke.

“ Oh you again, yeah I guess that is fine, Lucas.” I replied to his invite. He frowned, “How do you know that?” he replied.

“It was a guess, and I was right.” I smiled as we walked.

“I haven’t seen you in History before, I think you’re lying to me.”

“I guess you haven’t exactly had your eyes open,” I say as I winked at him. “Somebody doesn’t get enough sleep at home, I’m guessing.”

“Yeah, Home, right.” He looked at the floor.

Is that part of this secret? Wow, then I am sorry.

“My bad, big boy has a secret.” I whispered. “I’m willing to listen, if you need someone to talk to.” I smiled slightly at him and he smiled.

“What are you talking about, me, secrets, hell no.” he said trying to cover it up. We walk into History, it’s Presentation day. We had to make a slide show showing where we come from and who we are. I had to make mine longer, due to the many races.  I sit down in my seat and he sits behind me.

“I don’t remember who sat there before, but gives me a reason to stay up.” He whispers.

I turn at him and roll my eyes. I wont be able to focus today. I text Ashley,

WHAT NEXT??

I put my phone on my lap. I doubt she is going text me, she hates Science, and she is probably sleeping. I feel a tug at my sleeve from Luke and a note sitting on his desk, I roll my eyes at him and grab it.
