Leo's pov
I immediately ran and tackled her into a bone crushing hug,Sam was alive,Samantha,the love of my life was here with me,living,talking,not dead,I cupped her cheeks and kissed her as sparks flew and bombs exploded
I didn't care that everyone was watching,I missed her,as I pulled away she looked at me with love in her eyes,I somehow knew that mine looked the same,I gave the others a chance to greet her too,Jason cried tears of joy while the others looked relieved and happy.
"Welcome back to the land of the living" Percy announced,Sam smiled,"I missed you guys" she admitted,"okay guys,we better give her some time to rest" Annabeth advised,Sam's eyes widened,"no,we might not have a lot of time left to save Jake,I don't want to rest,I feel fine"
Jason shook his head,"I hate to say it but Annabeth's right,you just came back from the dead for Hades's sake" he advised,she sighed and after a while finally agreed,I kissed her head and smiled before leaving her room
*Few Hours Later*
I tossed and turned but it was no use,I couldn't sleep,I was worried about Sam,what if a monster attacks again and I won't be able to save her,finally I decided,I got out of bed and headed towards the infermary.
Sam lay sleeping peacefully,I began having second thoughts,Sam's fine,it wouldn't be fair to wake her up,I opened the door and cursed in greek as it squeked,Sam opened her eyes and looked at me.
Sam's pov
I woke up to the sound of Leo,"what are you doing here Repair boy?" I asked him as I tried to climb out of bed,(key word:tried),I immediately began falling but as I was about to meet the ground a pair of arms pulled me back,"thanks Leo" I smiled at him,
"Now are you going to tell me why you're here?" I ask again,he blushed and looked down,"Iwasscaredsomethingbadmighthappentoyouagainicouldnotsleepsoicamehere" Leo said really fast,I pulled my hands up,"okay say that again,more slowly",he took a deep breath,
"I was scared something bad might happen to you again I couldn't sleep so I came here" Leo advised,I hugged him,he couldn't sleep because of me,"I was so worried about you Sam" he says after a while,"y-you were dead,you died in my arms and I couldn't do anything about it" a tear fell on his cheek,I quickly wiped it,
"I could have protected you more,its my fault this happened" Flame boy said,I shook my head,"Leo what happened wasn't your fault,if it was anyone's fault its mine,I wasn't careful but it dosen't matter anymore,I'm right here,with you,I'm alive" I say and peck his cheek.
Flame boy smiled,"you always know what to say",Leo layed on the bed next to me,"lets pray to the gods that Jason dosen't find us like last time" I said and put my head on his chest as he pulled me closer,"I love you Leo" I advised.
"I love you Sam,always and forever"
With that I fell asleep on the love of my life,Leo Valdez.
