"You're lying."
A newly married couple, Jungkook and you. An arranged marriage, only through the will of your elders. As luxurious as it may sound to be wed to worldwide famous k-pop idol, things have only been falling apart every time. Life has ch...
"What?" I half yelled sharply looking up from my phone. He was leaning by the doorway. He sighed then walked towards me then took a seat beside me.
"What?" I repeated. Jungkook looked at me, his eyes tracing mine.
"I want to—," he stopped "Never mind," he said looking away.
"What were you going to say," I questioned emphasizing the "what" every time. I grinned.
I'm so going to annoy him, that he's going to run away from me. At least I'll try.
"Nothing," he replied. I rolled my eyes.
"Y/N," he started, "Tell me about...your life."
That was sudden. Well, my life is a big, fat lie. Only lies.
"What do want to know about my life." I said cheerfully after thinking for a while. He raised his eyebrows.
"About your parents. Why don't you live with them," he asked.
Pfft.Because of my selfish mother.
"What part specifically." Emphasizing. He glared.
"Why did whoever you lived with raise a child that asks too many questions," he scoffed.
"What do mean?"
"Stop saying 'what'," he ordered.
"What are you talking about?" I asked innocently.
"Y/N, I'm going to strangle you," he said raising his hands near my neck. Jungkook stared at me for a while, then lowered it.
"Gee, I was just joking," I said turning back to my phone.
"Sorry."
What?! Did he just say sorry?
"What did you just say?" I shot turning towards him. He gave me a dirty look.
"Oh, that wasn't on purpose. Well, maybe, now... a little," I said giving out a little chuckle.
"You're so annoying," he mumbled under his breath.
"Whaaaat?" I said stretching out the word.
"Shut up," he said, yet his lips curving into a slow smile. I laughed again, then glanced over to him.
Maybe I wouldn't want him to run away from me after all.
Maybe.

"Um.. Jungkook," I said softly.
"Hhm." I shifted on my feet nervously. I raised my right hand and pointed upwards.
"Uh..can you come with me to the..um storage room up there. I need to get something from the c-closet." I said. He blinked several times.
"Why do you need me to come?" he asked.
This is what I expected. Why?
"B-because I'm scared to go up there a-alone," I said.
Please come. Or else I'll most likely die in fear.
"There's nothing scary in there," he said turning back to browse through his phone.
My life is horrible?
"Why do you have to be so—all I'm asking is for 5 minutes to keep me company because that room scares me." He glared at me, threw his phone onto the couch and got up. I looked at his actions carefully. Jungkook started walking towards me, as I took tiny steps backwards, stumbling to walk properly. I stopped, the wall cold on my back.
"Y/N," he said sharply.
"Y-yes," I stammered.
"I wi—
"Will not? I get it, I'll just handle it on my...own," I cut in, trying to slowly move through the space in my side. Jungkook's arm slammed to the wall next to my shoulder. I jolted a little and looked back towards him.
"Will you let me talk?" he asked. I nodded feeling awkward in this position. His face was inches apart, that I could feel his lips almost tough mine. Several seconds passed.
"I will," he said almost a whisper. He lowered his hands back down and started walking towards the stairs. My eyes almost bulged out.
"Really?," I said excitedly," That's...surprising."
We finally reached the lonely, unwanted room, that's only opened rarely. It's kind of like a storage room, except not used that often.
Wait. How do I know this?
I shook my head and stared into the dark room. I used the flashlight of my phone as a guide, since the lights there just stopped working. I looked over to Jungkook
"Please..stay by my side. Don't leave me."
