RWBY: The Lost Faunus

Chapter 15 (OLD)

Yang's POV

I woke in the middle of the night from a horrible dream. I quickly slap myself to insure my nightmare is not real. Thankfully, it's not.

I decided to go for a late night walk around beacon. After I got dressed, I walk towards Ruby, who is still sleeping, and kissed her forehead. She smiled and cuddled against her blanket.

I equip Ember Celica and quietly closed the door, so I don't wake up my teammates.

When I passed by the nurse's office, I decided to take a peek to see if Y/N is okay.

I opened the door, but because of it's age, it made a loud creak.

Luckily, Y/N didn't wake up. I slowly walk to his side and checked his arm.

The stupid nurse didn't change his bandages, so his old ones were soaked in blood.

I took off my gauntlets and peeled of his blood-soaked bandages. As I peeled, he grunts in pain. After every bandage was peeled off, I went to the nurse's cabinet and pulled out a fresh pair. I quickly and carefully covered his wound so it wouldn't get infected.

Before I leave, I look at my love interest and kissed him on the forehead.

Yang: At first, I just flirted with you. Nothing serious. But, when you wiped off Jaune's vomit with your only hankerchief, you became my hero.

I walked to the door and looked back again.

Yang: I love you, Y/N. Hopefully you feel the same way about me...

I closed the door and walked over to the vending machine to get a tea. After I opened the bottle and took a couple of gulps, I notice Night walking around the hallway. Curious, and out of anger, I confronted him.

Yang: What are you doing?

Night gives me a low growl and walks away. Before he can leave my sight, I grabbed his arm.

Yang: I asked you a question!

Night: Let go.

His golden eyes slowly turned red. Somewhat scared, I let go.

Yang: Look, if you're mad that I said something mean to you today, I'm sorry.

Night: Here's my question. Did I poison my leader's food?

He, once again, walks away.

Yang: I was scared for his health

He lets out a deep chuckle.

Night: I don't give a d#mn if you don't trust me, but you better stop accusing me of trying to kill my leader. Bye.

Night leaves. This time, I don't try to stop him. Instead, I sit down at a nearby bench. Do I really accuse him of trying to kill Y/N?

After a while, my eyes feel droopy. This means I better get back to bed.

I walk back to my dorm, put on my pajamas, and laid down in my bed. Seconds later, I passed out.

Glynda: Yes, students, the forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so.

*Teams (Y)NLL, RWBY, and JNPR are talking in a friendly conversation. Well, except Yang and Night, who exchange death glares. Both of their eyes turned red.*

Glynda: Each of you is to gather one jar's worth of red sap. However, this forest is full of the creatures of Grimm, so be sure to stay by your teammates. We will rendezvous back here at 4 o'clock. Have fun!

*As the three teams go one way, team CRDL went the other.*

Cardin's POV

Damn that team. They think they are so special. The faunus scum leader humilated me during sparring practice, grizzly bear broke my rist, and that... f#cking wolf tried to kill me. I think its time to teach those people a lesson.

Sky: Hey, Cardin. Why do we have five jars of red sap instead of four?

Dove: Yeah! We only need one each.

Cardin: Shut up, you two. It's time for payback. Russel, do you have the box full of Rapier Wasps.

Russel: Yeah, Cardin.

Cardin: Sky give me the extra jar of red sap.

Sky: Here.

*Cardin's teammates hand him the red sap and the box.*

Cardin: Good. You guys know what we're doing?

RDL: No idea.

Cardin: (Sigh) Idiots... We are going to throw the jar at the leader of (Y)NLL and throw the box after. From what I heard, these bugs love sweets. Follow me, you three.

*Cardin's teammates nodded and followed their leader. After two minutes of walking, they see team (Y)NLL chilling out. Y/N and Lu are having a conversation, Lithos is gathering red sap, and Night is drinking the red sap he collected.*

Cardin: Let's get this started.

*Just before Cardin could try to throw the red sap, Jaune managed to interrupt them.*

Jaune: Hey! What are you guys doing.

Cardin: Jauney-boy! Here!

*Cardin hands the extra jar to Jaune.*

Jaune: What's this for?

Cardin: What its for? I'm glad you ask. You know Y/N?

Jaune: What about him?

Cardin: Out of everyone I met in my life, he p#ssed me off the most.

Jaune: Good to know?

Cardin: He called me a coward. So, I'm going to make sure he learns his place. I want you, Jaune, to throw this at him.

*With wide eyes, Jaune slowly walks away from Cardin.*

Jaune: No.

*Jaune throws the red sap at Cardin's chestplate.*

Cardin: You've done it now.

*Before Cardin could get the chance to pick up Jaune, a black halberd suddenly flies by, cutting Cardin's cheek.*

Y/N: I think me and my friends had enough with your sh#t, Cardin.

*Cardin sees Y/N, as well as his teammates.*

Y/N: Do you want to settle this, like huntsmen, or what?
