It always makes me sad when you hear about those cases with elderly couples....and when one dies..the other follows right behind....You grow to love your spouse. To cherish them and breathe them in every morning when you wake up, tucked safely in their arms.
And the absence of their presence leaves you with what?
Nothing but a tired old heart that has lost its will to survive.
