"Yes Miss Patel. The paper please. You can collect it at the end of the day from my room,"he opened his hand and I walked up to him to give the paper. It was in my left pocket but I slipped my poetry from my right pocket out.I handed him my poem and he nodded and I scurried to my seat.

As Mr Harrington began to exclaim the cover work I glanced at Peter who was drumming his fingers against the table, lost in thought. The teacher turned around and I slid the paper across the desk to the boy.

He continued staring out the window so I lightly hit his hand. His fingers stopped and he noticed the paper.A slow smile crept up his face which immediately turned into a frown.

"Again with the speed, tiger. You're going to drill into the desk."

He ignored me and instead probed another question.

"So what did you give Mr H.You can't have given him a blank paper. He'd know it was wrong. So when did you have time to write anything..."

"Whatever, chill"I said cutting him off from his rambling ",I gave him the paper with my poem on it.No big deal.Anyway after all this time,I'd hope you'd quit the rambling.Even if it is English and not incomprehensible babble by a toddler.."

"Whatever! you took ages on that though."

He looked at me worriedly but after I began to write the date he began to scribble down answers for the questions on the board.I began to answer them but then a thought clicked.

"You know, you could have told me you were struggling on a project which is why you were Mr Grumpy,"I whispered. He didn't look up but nodded anyway.

"You forgot to carry the 2 which is why your number won't give you an accurate answer in the trig equation.Yeah and also what does potential difference equal?"

He stopped amending his answer.

"Current divided by the resistance."

I shook my head and he began to tap his pen in thought.I looked at him expectantly, rolling my hand in a continue motion.

"Current mu-"

"Current multiplied by the resistance.Of course! That's why I could get the output right,"his eyes glinted with joy.

"Quiet Mr Weighderman."

"Sir it wasn't-"

"Quiet."

I giggled and Peter glanced apologetically at the guy,who had his head in his hands.I guess someone was a teacher's pet.The smile faded on his lips then he put his head in his hands.

"But that means I've done all the other equations wrong. It could put me back weeks."

"Chill,Pete.You've got help."

"Really?"

"Yeah, me of course."

"Seriously Aazmi you don't have to.I'm sure you have better things to do and you've already done a ton..."

"No I want to help.I'd like to.Stop rambling."

His eyes widened in disbelief.Sure,I'd always complained about science but it didn't mean I wouldn't help him.

"Thanks Aazmi, you really haven't changed much either. You still sound like Aunt May"

I smiled as the bell rang and closed my blank book.So much for math class even though Peter had kindly offered his notes.I slid my chair back and joined the crowd filing out into the corridor.

"Aazmi."

"Yeah."

"Tiger?"
