Why am I getting notifications whenever someone puts something on their board? Ugh.

Using the word "mOm" in this chapter was the hardest thing that my British-self has had to do for a while.

Why did I update a week late.

Because I'm lazy and I like to procrastinate. Sorry (not sorry)

Looking around the building I turned back around to face the boy in front of me.

"What is it?" Alex started. "Does it still hurt? Are you still hurt? If you are I can-"

"No," I exclaim smiling at him and Mark.

"Is it the fact that we basically kidnapped you and you're in too much pain to move so you're just staying here for convenience?" Mark whispers.

"No."

"Wait, I've got it you-"

"I'm not angry or anything. I just want to know where I am."

Alex pauses glancing to Mark warily.

"We already told you, we brought you to my house, after we found you kind of unconscious on the street."

I'm in Alex's house.

It's...

Bigger than I'd imagine it to be.

"I know but where is your house? What part of Birmingham? How long do I have to walk to get back home."

"Walk? No. We're not even in Birmingham anymore. You, Ivory Jones, can't possibly think I'm going to let allow you to walk back."

"Not in Birmingham?"

"Montgomery," Alex sighs.

"What?" I blurt out. "Montgomery. Are you stupid? It would take me days to walk back."

"That's why you're not walking back, I'm driving you. Keep up Ivy."

Cue my confusion.

"Driving me to Birmingham? Wait, How can you live in Montgomery and come to school in Birmingham everyday? Our school isn't any better than other schools in this area, don't you think that's the worst way of wasting your time."

Alex just shrugs.

"I like wasting time."

"Clearly," I scoff.

"Do you feel okay?"

"I still don't understand, what happened?"

"What isn't there to understand? Mark and I were going to the sch- restaurant to get... stuff and there were police surrounding the street we were walking on and we saw you unconscious on the ground."

"And you brought me here?"

To Montgomery?

"Which isn't kidnapping. Technically. We don't know where your house is. I mean we kind of helped you so-"

"You could have just taken me to the restaurant," I chuckle nervously.

Alex and Mark frown, staring down at the floor in deep thought.

"I'm joking, it's fine, thank you."

Alex smiles handing me a glass of warm water that smells like lemons.

"My mom said that lemon tea helps whenever she's sick."

"She's not sick though," laughs Mark.

"Oh well."
