Chapter 6: Felty Things Are Coolio
Autumn POV:
The other fox gave me some felty things, and I stared at them, my head starting to hurt. I knew she wanted me to put them on. I kept messing up and putting things in the wrong areas, but she was patient. She also helped me keep balance when I had to stand on two legs. The humans start talking to each other, and I honestly, I drift away, thinking about how to change back. I realize that everyone is staring at me. I look away, plopping down on the floor, back against the wall, where I peacefully slept.

Thorn POV:
After she was all clothed, the fox when over into the corner and slept like a fox, even in human form. After I made sure she was ok, I pretty much gave up and tried speaking to Lilac, Ivy, and Andrew.
"Hello...?"
"Yes?" They asked in unison.
"Well," I started, "It may seem like she's the fox shifter, but uh, well, you see... I am. But whatever you want from me tell me now!" Lilac looked taken aback, while Andrew seemed confused, and Ivy, well Ivy was playing on her phone, not listening to me. Lilac nudged Ivy, then saw what she doing and slapped the phone out of her hands, snatching the phone.
"Hey! I was defeating Plantera!"
"Well too bad, I'm sorry we only just figured out pretty much everything!"
"Ooh what'd you figure out?" Ivy asked, looking intrigued. I mentally facepalmed. But I still hadn't explained to the humans, so I continued,
"Well, uh, so yeah, I'm also a fox shifter. Me and my fox know sort-of what she is," I pointed to the unconscious fox, "A multi-shifter."
"Huh." Said Lilac, thinking about it.
"Hey so," Andrew started, "Are you a fox spirit?
"ANDREW! Don't ask that!" Ivy said slapping Andrew on the arm. " They're rare and powerful and we're probably not going to find one, quit it!" Then Ivy sat down.
"Well actually-" I started, but now Lilac started up.
"No, no, I'm sorry, he shouldn't have asked that."
"But I, no-"
"Wait am I interrupting you?'
"Well it's fi-"
"Oh no, I did it again didn't I?"
"You just need to kn-"
"I'm so sorry!"
"I-E!"
"Well u-"
"I'M A FOX SPIRIT!" I shouted at her, just needing to make sure she understood.
"WaitWhatThatsOddItCantBeIReallyHaveToThinkAboutThisSorry!" Her words jumbled, making it impossible to understand.
"Well the secret's out now, huh?" Andrew stated.
"Oh now you talk Andrew!" Lilac stared at him, and looked as if she was ready to chop his head off. I supposed they were like this most of the time. I just stand there, thinking to myself, why am I doing this, why am I opening up to these complete strangers? I'm not sure, but, around them, I feel comfortable. I feel like home. Chaos, but fun all around where you can still enjoy yourself. I glance over to see Ivy thinking, gathering all of the information. She looked me up and down, almost as if she could see everything about me by doing that. Lilac finally spoke up again,
"So, uh, are you pretty strong?"
"What do you mean, with powers or body strength?" I said, then quickly put my hands over my mouth, making sure I didn't say anything else. But it was a stupid thing to do. By doing that, everyone around you knows you either said something you shouldn't, or you have something to hide. And I, had something to hide.
