Chapter 3: People Should Realize That Walls Hurt
Autumn POV:
I feel hands on me. I sit upright. A human! I jump out of its arms and freeze. The human turns into a fox. UHHH? I think. What? I feel the fur on my neck bristle. Then I hear footsteps, I'm guessing the other fox human thing does too. We both turn our heads quickly. A boy and a girl slide their heads out from behind a wall. "Ivy! It's one of them!!" He yells. Another girl pokes her head out. "Sup foxes. I'm Ivy." I am so confused. I just want to disappear. The other humans are mumbling about something. I don't understand so I back away trying to disappear. Then I realize I'm backing up into the cell. AHH, get it together Autumn!

Thorn POV:
He glanced between the both of us as if he was making a decision. Soon enough, he called back out into the hallway,
"Ivy! It's one of them! "His words confused me, 'It's one of them.' A girl poked her head into our room, watching.
"Sup foxes, I'm Ivy." She said calmly. My mind went wacko. She seemed so nice, why would people like this kidnap us? The fox next to me isn't taking it well either, she is slowly backing away back into the cell, then realized what she was doing, going back into the cell. The girl called to us,
"So which one is the shifter?" Ivy whispers into the boy's ear, then freezes, remembering that fox shifters would be able to hear that.
"We're not sure." The other girl responded. "I was hoping you knew."
"How would I know?" Ivy retorted.
"I don't know. But I guess we can ask them..."
"So, uh, if you're a fox shifter, shift!" Ivy commanded. I shook my head, then completely froze thinking that then she would think it was me, then I looked over and saw the other fox was shaking her head too! I was saved! I looked over at the other fox and gave her a small look of appreciation so that only she could see. Suddenly she looked at me with a look of confusion and disgust. I looked back at her with my own confused look. She gave a large yap that I realized was fox and I listened in. She yelled at me and the girl figure.
"Friend!? Friend!?" She yells, "You think I am her FRIEND?!" she shouts at me, eyes wide. "I have never met this thing in my entire life!" I'm taken aback. Sure, to her I don't seem right, but I tried to save her life, I was looking out for her, I... The fox sprinted in circles and suddenly pummeled straight into the wall. Confused, I back away from her and the humans, looking for a possible way out. I'm cornered and concerned for my safety. Nothing seemed right here. Something was off, but I couldn't quite tell what.
