Your POV

I groggily snoozed the alarm and slumped out of bed. Jeez, I already miss the 'waking up naturally' lifestyle and it's not even that early right now. Yesterday night, I went to plan the first train to get to Camila's, which meant I had to take the one from 6.00. A ride to her's is like 2 hours or something, so I'd be way too early. In the end, I decided to go with the one at 9:30, that way I'll arrive there at about 12 something, including the 15-minute-walk. She'll probably be awake by then.
The ride went as planned and right now, I'm standing on the platform, trying to recall the way to her house. Eventually, I texted Camila and asked her to pick me up, because I wasn't in the mood to get lost in an unknown city.
After about 20 minutes of kicking pebbles and listening to music, I saw Camila's figure slowly coming into view. I made my way over towards her and upon seeing me, she began to run and crashed into my arms, knocking the air out of me. Her arms were tightly around my neck, while mine were just loosely around her waist.
"Hey," I said softly as I patted her head. I felt her mumble something in the crook of my neck before she pulled herself away from the hug.
We walked to her house in complete silence. I wondered what was going through her mind, but at the same time, I don't dare to ask it because I don't know if she's ready to talk yet. By the looks of it, it doesn't seem like she's gonna open up soon.
Arriving at the Cabello's, I greeted Sinu and Sofi before Camila pulled me up the stairs and to her room. She closed the door, then crawled on her bed, patting the empty place next to her. Following her motion, I sat up against the headboard. She moved a bit and is now sitting cross-legged in front of me.
She took a deep breath and finally spoke up, "I just don't get what went wrong... I loved him so much... God, I still love him... but..."
"But..." I gestured for her to continue, without pushing it too hard.
She sighed heavily with a slight tremble, "He's been cheating on me." She looked down at her hands as she'd finished her previous sentence.
"That fuckin-"
"No no no, don't do anything."
"I haven't said I would do something to him... yet," I said as calmly as I could.
"Just don't... I haven't told Dinah yet because I didn't want her to search him up and beat the shit outta him..." Dinah lives in the same quarter as Noah, so it's pretty easy for her to teach that guy a lesson. Knowing Dinah, if she knows what happened, there's about 99% chance she'll do something. That remaining one percent is if she can't find his house.
"And how do you know I ain't gonna ask Dinah for his address and then slap some sense into him?"
"Because I know you won't do anything I asked you not to do."
I nodded my head slowly in agreement. That is true... and I also don't think that she has ever allowed me to beat up someone for her, no matter how much they've hurt her.
She always says that she doesn't want to get me in any trouble, but sometimes, they just deserve it. And I know, violence can't solve problems and I shouldn't use it... but at times like this, it's hard to resist that. I mean, seriously, cheating. Speaking of which, "How did you find out he cheated?"
"One day, I went to his house to hang out... and I got bored, so he gave me his phone to amuse myself since he's studying... and so... I went to his Instagram... while scrolling down, I accidentally swiped to his DM's... I saw him texting with this other girl... it sounded like they were dating, so I confronted him about it..." she paused as tears began to stream down her face. I leaned forward and rubbed her arm, trying to comfort her. "He... he got angry and asked me why I didn't trust him enough to give him his privacy a-and why I had to check his conversations with others... I-I tried to explain to him that I didn't mean it... but h-he didn't listen and sent me home instead. I constantly tried to reach out to him the following days, b-but he just kept ignoring me... and yesterday he ended it through text..."
