Tris POV:
"What happened?" I ask worriedly. Christina looks down at her phone. "Uriah is in the hospital. No one knows what happened." She says. Everyones eyes go wide. "We have to go to the hospital!" Marlene shouts, trying to hold back her tears. Shauna pays for the food and we run out to the parking lot. "I'll drive." Christina says. She hops in the drivers seat, with Marlene next to her, and Shauna and I get into the back. Uriah. In the hospital. But why?

We arrive at the hospital and Tobias is the only one in the waiting room. "Hey." He says emotionless. There is a small bruise under his lip. "Hi." I say sitting down next to him. I look down and his knuckles are all bruised up. I don't bother asking why. "Who else knows about Uriah?" I ask him. "Will and Zeke are on their way." He says. I stare back down at the bruises on his knuckles. "Why are your knuckles bruised?" I say. I couldn't help myself anymore. I had to ask. His eyes go wide. "Oh, um... I was... At the.. Gym. Yeah, I was at the gym." He says.
Zeke and Will come through the hospital doors. "Family of Uriah Pedrad?" A nurse says. We all stand up. "You may go see him." She says. We all get up and walk to his hospital room. Tobias walks next to his hospital bed and cringes at the sight of Uriah. He immediately walks out and sits in the hallway. Uriah has cuts and bruises all over his face and arms. That's when everything comes to me.
Tobias, with a small bruise on his face and many bruises on his knuckles. Uriah, with a lot of bruises on his arms and face. Tobias did this. Tobias beat up Uriah just because we kissed. Uriah is in the hospital because of Tobias. My head is spinning. I start to get dizzy. "Four," I say. Christina looks over at me. She sees me swaying back and forth. "Tris, I think you need to sit down." Christina says. She grabs a chair and pulls it towards me. I sit down. "Four did thi-" I say before everything goes black.
