"I'm not lying." I reassured Gabi.

"No. Gosh no. Why did this have to happen?" She asked. Mainly talking to herself.

"I know right." Which ended us in an awkward kinda silence. I knew Gabi would not take it so well, probably the same as I did. But I don't blame her because this was totally unexpected. They said there was a drunk driver that had just drove right into them causing the car to just fly into a bunch of trees.

School just kept getting so much more miserable. No Anthony seemed like half of me just vanished and I could barely breathe or something. One of my bestfriends. Someone who also stuck up for me. Gabi did sometimes but she is really shy and just looks down at her feet whenever stuff like that happens, in which cases are all the time. And he is 'lucky to be alive'. I haven't seen him yet but I just can't imagine how much his life has changed.

Theresa hasn't driven me to he hospital to see him because she says they most likely won't let us in, but will keep us filled in on what all is happening. He broke an arm and a leg and also had a concussion. He also was bleeding almost everywhere and actually could've died if he wasn't rushed to the hospital quick enough. His mom I heard actually went into a coma on the way to the hospital. It all was almost too unbelievable.

I could barely concentrate on any school work, too. My head ached and I always felt so sick. People would also make rumors of how I was in love with Anthony! I am in fact in love with no one, thank you very much.

"I still can't believe this." Gabi said coming up to me when school finished.

"I know. I hope he comes home soon."

"It's probably don't going to be until after Christmas break!" Christmas was actually only a month away and I thought he really couldn't be in the hospital for that long. But having him home would be a good Christmas present.

Only a week and 3 days until my brother and mom come home! I completely forgot! It's so soon and I miss them so much. Can't wait to see them.

Theresa was also really sad of what happened and I could tell because of how she acted on the car ride home. She was constantly bite her lip and had really sad looking eyes. I wish this never happened.

I really wasn't in the mood of doing homework especially since where I did my homework was where Anthony and I did out homework together. Oh memories. They can be so great yet so cruel to you.

"Dinners ready!" Theresa calls down to me.

I finished up my homework really fast and went downstairs to a delicious scent of spaghetti, which I absolutely love!

"So how was your day at school?" Theresa asked half way through the meal.

"Lonely. It's so different without Anthony. He is always there for me and now he is gone and it feels like crap."

"It's ok. He is definitely coming back. Soon probably. Maybe next week. Probably before your mom and Chris get home."

"Gabi said it would be at Christmas break that he would be home." I asked concerned.

"Oh no. Of course not. It wouldn't take that long. The doctors know what they are doing and there isn't any major harm to any organs that they know of and he most likely will be home soon. Don't worry." She said smiling at me. I know she was hurt. I could see the pain in her eyes.

After a couple minutes Theresa's phone started ringing. Yeah she had an iPhone of course.

"Hello." She said.

"Oh hey, Romeo. What's up?"

And the conversation went on like a normal one. Kind of seemed like a pointless phone call.
