"Liam, wait for me!" You gushed and swung your bag, watching Malia who shot Scott a look, one that he took as a request to put you in your place. He quickly shook his head and turned back to Stiles.

"You guys see it too right. It's so cringey how much she likes him." Stiles complained. Isaac scoffed as he and Lydia strolled up the hall.

"And you were any different with me?" Lydia asked. Everyone laughed and teased Stiles for a moment before Stiles popped up again.

"But she likes him so much. They're both little baby betas. Can't he just stop being dumb and realise he hates her because he likes her?" When he finished everyone stayed quiet for a moment before Isaac hummed and shrugged.

"I ship it." He muttered before walking off to his class, pausing so Scott and Stiles could catch up.

You sat in the chair assigned to you and Liam sighed as he realised he was sat next to you again. You grinned and waved at him as he took his seat. "Great." He grumbled to himself.

"It's a pack night tonight!" You said excitedly, trying to start a conversation with Liam who rolled his eyes and leaned on his hand so he didn't have to look at you.

"Ok so we're clear?" Stiles asked as you munched on a sandwich Melissa had offered you before she'd left.

"I am but she's stuffing her face. Doubt she's payed attention." Liam bit out. You stopped mid bite and frowned, glancing around at everyone else who had all been nibbling on snacks.

"Liam." Scott said with a warning grumble.

"I'm just sayin, she's a useless werewolf." Liam added and you looked hurt, slapping the leftovers into Malia's hand you stomped off while Lydia rushed to get you.

"That's enough." Stiles said sharply as he grabbed Liam's shoulder. "We all understood." Everyone muttered that they did to Stiles before heading off to check with you and see if you'd be able to go on with the plan.

You spent most of the afternoon and night working as hard as you could to set up the trap, research and coordinate with the pack. What Liam said hurt, you thought you were a pretty good pack member, at least Scott seemed to think so. He said you had a lot of impressive potential and you'd even managed to grasp controlling your shift much quicker than the others. Although you did have a few extra lessons with Scott.

Just as you finished calling Lydia to tell her everything on your end was done and you'd be meeting up with Malia as soon as Melissa and Chris arrived at the McCall house Liam arrived.

"You're not gone yet. What does Scott see in you?" He complained as he let himself in.

You glared at him and crossed your arms. "I'm following instructions." You replied simply.

"Whatever." Liam sighed as he paced the hall.

As soon as Melissa and Chris came in you told them what Scott needed from them. They rushed to get on with it while you headed back to Liam who was leaning against the wall in the hall.

"You stay. I'll see Malia. The only thing you can do is keep house." Liam grumbled and started to push past you.

You roughly shoved his chest, making him growl dangerously as he took a step back.

"You know you're a real jerk, no wonder Scott prefers to train me. I don't know why I even bother being nice to you, or why I like you! We don't even need your help!" You shouted through a few sniffles. You took a deep breath and buried the urge to cry behind a withering glare before marching out of the house.

You left Liam staring after you in shock, having never really lost your temper before. Melissa slowly wondered in a beckoned Liam over to help her and Chris while they exchange a look.

"Scott's going to have trouble sorting these two out." Chris muttered to Melissa who hummed in agreement.
