Warnings: Violence, vampire attack, decapitation, murder, Stiles yeeting.

You'd been in the hospital for a while. Tempers had flared when Marko, the smallest vampire showed up one night to see you. He'd talked about the late night walks you'd been going on with the group and how much they missed you.

You remembered almost none of it and what you could remember had come to you as if you had dreamt it. You explained as much to Melissa and Lydia who both believed you. Malia was convinced they'd done some sort of vampire trick to get you to hang out with them.

Marko had visited a few more times. Once with a bottle of blood. Another time he had a bloody and still beating heart in a box with a note that said from David. Another time he showed up and while he was being chased off by Derek and Peter, he'd complained that they behaved the way Michael Emmerson had. Stiles had left shortly after that with his dad and Chris Argent to find who Michael could be.

Liam had stayed at your side and on the occasion that Malia and Kira caught him napping, they had demanded he take shifts on watching you. Which was what they had been doing when Melissa had found them all asleep in your hospital room. But you had vanished.

Now everyone was looking for you again. Derek and Peter seemed convinced that it was likely that you'd gone to find David, wherever he was, because of some sort of sire bond. It was something Satomi had mentioned but had point blank refused to elaborate. Since you'd gone missed the electrics for the tow had gone haywire. The general consensus was wild animals attacking the electricity grid. Though the pack is better than that. Between the animal attacks on people and the rolling black outs that left portions of the town in complete darkness for several nights at a time, as the county rushed to fix them. The pack was spread thin and not one person could say anything nice about the vampires. Even you had become a sore subject.

"Damn it!" Stiles muttered as he looked up at the sky. All of the street lights had cut out.

"The vampires?" Scott asked and Stiles shrugged.
"What do I know? I didn't even know if vampires were real or not until they came to our town and kidnapped our friend." Stiles snapped as he glanced at Scott. Something thumped into the side of the Jeep.

As Stiles pulled up to a stop he gave Scott a worried look. Liam had his headphones in. He'd been listening to a recording of the last person who Argent could find, who claimed to have seen vampires. He was some doddering old man who referred to himself as Grandpa. Stiles hasn't managed to listen to the whole thing. It sounded like nonsense and the ramblings of some mad old man. But Liam was determined to hear all of it. He hadn't even seemed to notice that the Jeep had stopped.

Scot and Stiles hurried out of the truck and sighed as they looked at the dent on the Jeep's hood. "That... shouldn't be like that." Scott muttered.

"Well, yeah obviously." Stiles grumbled as he opened the hood to look inside.

"No. I mean. It hit us from the side. Look there's even a dent and blood. No way we would have missed it if it dropped onto the bonnet." Scott went on. Stiles sighed as he looked at the side where Scott had pointed. He was right. Although the amount of blood was alarming. As he looked around he spotted a trail that led off to the side and towards the woods.

"I'm no vampire expert but putting two." He pointed to the dented hood. And two together. I'm getting bloodsucker Scotty." Stiles said with a nervous note, ringing in his voice.

"Should we call Derek to help us have a look?"

"Nice vote of confidence in yourself alpha. Yes we should call Derek! There's a Peter lever evil vampire in town! We're not going to just walk through the wood! We know how to deal with Werewolves and also we know all the werewolves that ate in our woods!" Stiles said frantically. They both stopped and looked back at the blood trail as a head rolled out of the woodlands. It had clearly been kicked in theri direction. "Am I too young to retire from you know... this weird crap?"
