Alright so last night my sister and I finished Good Girls (if you haven't seen it it's on Netflix and it is 10/10) and it ended it the biggest possible cliffhanger.
Now I do understand the concept of cliffhangers especially if you want to make a sequel and be certain that the audience is going to be interested in that. But at the end of the day it is plain cruel. The name really describes how it makes you feel. Like you're hanging on a cliff and you can't get back up until the sequel reaches out to you and pulls you back to save grounds.
However it wouldn't be that much of a frustrating feeling if the sequel/next season would come out in like a month so you can mentally prepare yourself the next 30or-so days and then return to finding answers. But nooo they always let you wait at least a year where at the end you can't even remember what kept you up at night back when you finished the first part. It truly sucks. It always takes you a couple days of agony to get over that unsatisfying ending and then when months have passed and you have finally returned to leading a quiet life they hit you with the "and here are your answers to the questions you can't recall anymore".And just for the record I am the type of impatient where I don't watch a show until it is finished because then I can binge the whole thing without having to wait for new episodes so you can imagine how hurt I am when I do everything I possibly can to avoid painful cliffhangers all throughout a season and then BOOM the final just ENDS mid conversation!
