Defending Herself

Chapter 4

*2 months later*

Yay can't wait for tomorrow. It's the first day of school (see the sarcasm).

But I have been doing really good at work, they gave me a raise. I been paying off the bills and I'm doing alright. Well for someone who lost there parents.

I also been getting really good at karate. I feel like I can defend myself now. I was working on some karate moves when I got a call from Cam.

"Hello"

"Hey Paige"

"What's up"

"I'm coming out of homeschooling and I'm going to your school now!"

"Oh my god that's amazing!"

"Yeah well I can't wait to see you tomorrow maybe we will have the same classes"

"Yeah maybe we will"

"Well I'll see you tomorrow bye Paige"

"Bye Cam"

And with that I hung up.

I decided that I should go do something instead of staying home so I decided on going shopping for school.

*at the mall*

Once I got there I walked in and breathed in the air. Smelled like pretzels. Probably because there's an Aunties Annie's right next to me.

I sighed and walked into American Eagle. I decided on not asking Cam to come because I don't want to make him feel like he always needs to be beside me, even though he is the only friend I talk to a lot.

I picked out some jeans, a couple of skirts, and cardigans and paid for them. After I finished paying I walked around until I saw Aeropostale. I love this store.

I saw a lot of cute sweaters and picked out a couple. I also decided on trying on some leggings. After I made sure everything fit I paid for my clothes.

I went into journeys and got Galaxy vans and black and white converse. Lastly I went into Under Armour and got an under armour sweatshirt.

Once I was satisfied I decided on going to the food court. While I was walking to Auntie Annie's because there pretzels are really good, I saw someone who caught my eye. He was wearing a black hoodie, khakis, and vans. His hair was dirty blonde, short and he was wearing sunglasses.

I've never seen him around, I wonder if he just moved here. Lets face it, I never see anyone anymore. He looked over my way, I'm guessing he was looking at me, I couldn't really tell since he was wearing sunglasses. We looked at each other for a couple seconds until I heard the cashier say "Next please."

I shook it off and gave her my order. I waited until they gave me my pretzel and I thanked her. I was about to sit and eat at the food court when I saw that guy I saw earlier sitting in the food court also.

He didn't have his sunglasses on and I noticed he was staring at me. His eyes were chocolatey/hazel brown. I felt really uncomfortable. Is there something on my face? Does my hair look bad today?

I decided I wasn't going to eat here and walked out of the mall. I started my car and went back home.

Once I got home I looked at the time. It was 6:10 so I decided to take a shower. After I was done I dried myself off, put on my pajamas, and made myself dinner.

I looked around the kitchen while I was eating and thought 'wow it gets really boring by yourself'. I sighed and finished my dinner.

I watched some teen wolf and looked at the time. 10:00, I guess I should get some sleep. I walked up to my bed and scrolled through twitter for a little while.

After a while I started to get tired and fell asleep. Sometimes I wish I could sleep forever.
