RING RING RING!

"Who's calling so early?" I groaned. I looked at the caller ID. It was Cam.

What do you want?

Hahah good morning to you too.

Cam I'm serious.

Did you forget that today was the first day of school?

Uh.... no of course not.

Paige your a terrible liar.

Okay fine yes I forgot.

Well you better get ready you have 45 minutes and I'm picking you up so you can show me where my classes are.

Okay Cameron chill I'll see you in 45.

I went to my closet and picked out a dark blue flannel and denim shorts.

I went to the bathroom and put on some eyeshadow, mascara, and concealer. I straightened my hair and went downstairs to have breakfast.

I don't curl my hair much because I have very thick hair so it would take me about a year to so I straighten it more.

"Hey mom what's for-- oh right" I said and sighed. Guess ill just eat some cereal.

Sometimes I say things thinking my parents are around. It's a habit.

"No Paige no bad thoughts" I said to myself and started to eat Krave.

That cereal is amazing. I finished eating and I looked at the time. 7:15, only 15 minutes to get to school.

I grabbed my backpack and was about to call Cam when someone knocked on the door.

I looked through the window and saw Cam. I walked over towards the door and opened it.

"Hey Cam" I said and hugged him.

"Hey Paige, you ready to go?" he asked.

"Yeah let's go" I said and walked out to his car.

I got in and we started to drive to school. I was about to put in my headphones when Cam interrupted me.

"Hey can I tell you something."

"Yeah go ahead" I said and waited for him to speak.

"Okay so I heard this new kid, named Matthew Espinosa is coming to our school" he said with a worried tone.

"Oh and why are you telling me this?" I asked.

"Well because I heard he got kicked out of 5 different schools and he is a player."

"Great just what we need in our school, a douchebag, why out of any school did he have to go to our school in Virginia" I said while looking out the window.

"I don't know but please don't fall for his games, I don't want you getting hurt" he said.

"Please if anyone's getting hurt it's him I can take him down in a second" I said defensively.

We both started to laugh.

"I know karate master, you can kick anyone's ass" he said which made me burst out laughing.

"Okay were here" he said like a kid.

"Great" I said while sighing.

"Let's go to the office and get your schedule" I said.

He nodded and followed.

I hope we don't run into this Matt kid. Maybe that is the person I saw at the mall. I brushed off the thought and continued walking towards the office with Cam following.
