"Umm, What?!" I say confused, my voice raspy and soft.

"I'm here, and I brought soup." He says placing some bags down next to the door.

"B-but school??" I ask him frantically waving my arms.

"You're more important." He says  sitting down next to my bed a warm smile on his face.

"I-I'm not more important than school.." I mutter a small blush creeping onto my face.

"You're more important than school to me." He says cheerfully.

A small smile appears on my face, my blush deepening.

"Will your parents get mad?" I ask trying to collect myself.

There is a short pause before Todoroki takes a breathe and speaks.

"They won't care." He whispers before standing up and grabbing the bag of soups from there place next to the door.

"I'll be right back." He continues before opening the door and walking away. He closes it gently. I can hear the sounds of his feet stepping down the stairs growing fainter and fainter until they're gone. My head blanked as I sat there confused and scared.

Did I say something wrong?
Does he hate me now? He's probably just going downstairs so that he can leave. I messed up. He hates me now, for sure. I messed up really bad.

All of these thoughts start spiraling in my head. I can't control my breathing, and I feel like I might pass out. Tears start forming in my eyes as the words start playing back in my head. Just loud enough for me to hear and others to laugh about.

"Worthless."

"Scum."

"Kill yourself."

"DO IT!"

"GO JUMP OFF A ROOF AND DIE!"

Suddenly a pair of strong arms wrap themselves around me no words just silence. Everything fades away. It's peaceful, and welcoming. What feels like a cool breeze sweeps by us. What should have caused a chill, caused a surge of warmth and the arms to tighten their grip around me. Then wetness. Rain?
No, it's something else. Tears.. Then words whisper out of the darkness, through the breeze.

"I'm sorry.."

I look up at the not so mysterious figure wrapping his arms around me. With a swift gesture I wrap arms around his neck, placing my forehead to his.

"It's ok, I'm here."
