Sofia the First: The Alien Prince

Hugo is an alien?

Hugo put his things in his and Axel's room when Amber and Hildegard showed up.

"Prince Hugo, you don't mind if we read some of your books in here, do you?" Amber asked.

"No, go ahead, but put them back when you're done," Hugo replied, putting his bag under his bed.

"Will do," Hildegard nodded.

Hugo left and went to play with Sofia and James. As soon as he was gone, Amber pulled his bag out from under the bed, then pulled his book out from the bag. The book was blue with an alien head on the cover.

"I'm starting to feel bad about this," Amber declared.

"Me, too, but at the same time, we have to know what he's thinking," Hildegard declared. "He's probably using his diary to plan his wedding to Sofia."

"Why would they get engaged at the age of 11?" Amber asked. "It's enough Sofia is barely a preteen but has a boyfriend anyway—getting engaged this young is rushing. Anyway, let's see what we have here."

Amber opened the book to the first page, which said:

The Earth Log of Prince Hugo

I am an evil alien, and I come from the planet of Olympia.

To meet me and my family, turn to the next page.

Amber and Hildegard were shocked to read that.

"Prince Hugo, an evil alien?" Hildegard asked. "Keep reading!"

Amber turned to the next page only to find drawings of Hugo and his family as aliens. "Oh, goodness!" she gasped. "It says here that his family has an evil plan to take over Earth!" She turned the page and read:

We were very unhappy with life on Olympia, so we decided to travel through space to try and find a better planet to call home. Just as we were giving up hope of finding a new home, we stumbled onto Earth.

But as we entered the planet, we saw that we looked like none of the Earthlings on the planet, so Uncle Grimtrix used his alien magic to make us don disguises and look like we're from this ridiculous planet. I pretty much like my Earth form, by the way.

Now onto the evil plan to take over the planet: we're going to eliminate all of Earth's human beings. We've noticed that the royal family of Albuquerque has mysteriously disappeared, so we became its new royal family, using the palace for our secret meetings.

We're now ready to go over Olympia's evil yet subtle plan: the elimination of the populists Olympian Handshake of Death!

By fortunate coincidence, if these Earth creatures have one weakness, it's the inability to turn down a friendly handshake.

Mother, Father, Axel, Uncle Grimtrix, and I have eliminated practically three quarters of Earth's popularity, and the last of the people we need to mow down are the people of our new kingdom.

Soon we will implement our plan, and this pathetic planet will be ours!

Amber and Hildegard couldn't believe what they were reading in Hugo's journal.

"My sister has been dating an evil alien prince, who's dominating the world?" Amber gasped.

"We've been crushing on an alien prince dominating the world?" Hildegard gulped.

Amber put Hugo's book in his bag, then put it back under the bed. "I'd better tell Sofia what's going on," she declared.

Suddenly, Sofia, James, and Hugo came in.

"Tell me what, Amber?" Sofia asked.

Amber jumped at the sound of Sofia's voice, and she and Hildegard were very nervous to see Hugo. "Oh, I think it would be best if I shared it with you at home, Sofia," she declared.

"Well, if you say so," Sofia shrugged.
