Hey i haven't updated this in a while!!

Gloria Pov.

"But i think it's a brilliant idea honey!"

"No mom, he's a joke! I should have never agreed with this. By the end of the week it's not my fault if i end up in jail for attempted murder.."

My mom's half heartfelt laugh just almost lifted up my mood. After yesterday's very, if i do say so myself, traumatic session with Hunter... i'd be a whole lot happy if i never had to see that kid's face again.

The smell of freshly cooked pancakes filled my nostrils. Part of me was starting to lightening up knowing that Trisha had taken Neveah to her dance recital, so there was more food for me... don't judge me, i like my food...

I had no clue about Jacob's whereabouts and i couldn't honestly care less...

Two pancakes slid onto the china plate in front of me. Smothering it with golden syrup i starting to dig in, in a slow process.

"I still think it's a pretty well thought out plan." My mom shrugged referring back to the conversation. "I mean who better to teach troubled kids than role model's like yourself?"

"Only trained jail guards." I said after swallowing a delicious dose of vanilla flavoured delights.

My mom parted her lips to reply my smart comment when a clap of thunder sent my heart into a beating frenzy.

Silence covered the kitchen as my mom approached the window pulling the curtain back by a bit to reveal a shower of rain and a flash of lighting. "I better go out to save the washing." She muttered to herself before disappearing to the back door.

My finger's busily tapped on the surface of the kitchen counter. Well that's all my Saturday plans ruined. I was planning on going ice skating with Violet. It used to be our favourite pass time event... back when we were the closets of friends. It was her idea for us to get together to try and make the best of what we had. A civil friendship.

It's only fair that i kept Jacob and Violet at the same distance from me. Even though me and Jacob did argue more often..

Another thunder struck through the silence of the kitchen, I could feel my face burning up with fear. Maybe i should try that count to see how far the thunder is thing....

Another jolt of thunder almost sent out of my seat. After taking a long gulp of milk next to me i got out of my seat, not really having an appetite for breakfast anymore. It was so early in the morning yet the thunder had a thirst for being viscous.

Dunking the plate in the sink after giving it a scrape i found myself becoming more and more nervous. The rain hammered on the window in front of me. I found the bravery in me take it by the rim. Pulling it back a bit i watched rain drops crystallize the window, more appearing by the second.

It was so blurry and grey. The sky was a dull white but the atmosphere was masked with darkness, yet it being just 10 O'clock in the morini-

BANG!

I jumped back at the sound, almost giving me a heart attack-

It's just thunder... I had to remind myself.
