The Losers' and I haven't talked in several days prior to the 'fight'. I stayed home, kept my curtains closed, and layed in bed all day, usually eating junk food. Going through some type of emo phase.

My mom had told me to go to the pharmacy to pick up some medicine for the house.

"Right mum, I'm going." I shut the door feeling the cool breeze whoosh through the air. It was still warm outside, just not the summer type feel. I rode my skateboard, arriving at the entrance. I spotted a familiar body at the counter with it looked like the fill-in? She had blonde hair tied into a up-do ponytail, teenager type. I watched as she walked up to him from behind the counter, grabbed a pen and started writing on his cast.

He pulled away from the counter so I walked up to him. "Uh. Hi Eddie." I awkwardly swayed. "Hi Y/n." He replied shaking. "What's wrong? Did that girl hurt you or something?" I said with a serious tone.

He glanced at the cast, looked at me and to the floor. "Hey, what's that on your cast?" I said curiously, gently grabbing his arm to get a closer read- it said, 'LOSER' on it with a wad of bubble gum plastered on the letter O.

I gave him a soft look.

"Do you need me to beat her up?" I said sternly, "Cause I'll give her little ol' Besty." I said shaking my fist as Eddie chuckled, "No, it's okay."

I pulled out a red sharpie from my bag and began tracing a 'V' over the O to form Los(v)er. He stared at the cast smiling as I slid away my sharpie.

"Thanks Y/n." He thanked giving me a sideways hug. "Anytime Eds." I smiled pulling away. "Did you come for something?" He asked, tilting his head. "Yeah. Just some things." He furrowed his brows, "Watch out 'cause you might find out it's all bullshit." He lightly brushed past me,

"I have to go, sorry Y/n." I waved with curiosity, still standing in an empty aisle.

LATER THAT DAY

-KNOCK!-

-KNOCK!-

-KNOCK!!!!!-

"Im coming, I'm coming!" I groaned getting up from the couch, over to the front door.  I poked through the hole and it was Bill.

I opened the door, "Bill what are y- Beverly. Captured. It. We need to go." Bill said interrupting me by covering my mouth as I nodded fast. If that son of a bitch captured Beverly, I'm of course helping, coming to the rescue. I was already ready so I went outside and rode with Bill.

We rode to the arcade to go recruit Richie.

He hissed at us as we spoke between his video game battle. "See that guy I'm hitting, I'm pretending it's you!" Richie spoke angrily towards Bill. He repeatedly banged the buttons as Bill finally spoke up, "It got Beverly." Richie scoffed, "What are you talking about!?" I angrily spoke, "IT Richie, IT got Beverly!" He slowly turned away from his game to face us.

"H-Hello?"
Ben had called about Beverly. I agreed to come over and hung up. As I was walking towards the door, my mom stopped me in my tracks.

"And where do you think you're off to?" She hissed.

"Out with my friends."

"Sweetie, you can't go, you're getting over your sickness remember?" She spoke to me as if I was a child.

"Sickness? What sickness ma?" I pulled out the tube from my fanny pack. "You know what these are?! They're gazebos! They're bullshit!" I angrily threw them across the floor.
