"Kaycee is a very nice, loving, sweet, and funny girl so that's why she's my girlfriend..."

Wait..what? I am beyond confused

"I think I speak for everyone when I say you guys are very cute together..well this has been Kaylieh Clark with People Magazine and we'll see you next time" She said looking back at the camera 

As we finished walking the red carpet all I could think about was what Sean said to the reporter. I wasn't his girlfriend..and both of us knew that..but now the hundreds of thousands of people watching the Emmy's think differently

I pull Sean behind the backdrop to talk to him about the whole girlfriend thing..

"Why'd you say that?" I asked 

"Say what? He replied 

"That I was your girlfriend" I said putting my hands on my hips

"God you're so vacuous Kaycee" he said putting his hands on my shoulder

 "I'm confused" I said looking up at him

"Then I guess it's for you to figure out" He said with a smile as he kissed my forehead

"Let's go"  He added

I followed him into the auditorium..my mind was just all over the place but I needed to get the thought out of my head so I could focus on the performance. "You're so vacuous Kaycee" What does that even mean!

"Come on slowpokes" Tessandra yelled from backstage 

Tessandra gestures us to our dressing rooms and shows us where we need to meet to run our dance before we get on the big stage in front of everyone.

"Ok so your costumes are in your dressing rooms somewhere..Sean remember to put on the joggers that look like khakis, not the ones you brought and Kaycee remember to put a pair of Nike Pros under your dress..8 minutes then go through the big corridor" She said pointing to the long hallway

We nod at Tess and just spend a couple awkward seconds looking at each other.. 

"What are you waiting for.. Go!" Tessandra said sternly

I run inside my dressing room and quickly wipe my makeup off so I don't get it on the dress. My costume was just a dark blue velvet dress.. Tess told me to just take the top section of my hair and clip it up. 

Now that I have gotten ready I needed to get to the corridor where we would run the dance before the actual performance. But I am still so confused with what Sean said..I just couldn't get over it.. I needed to talk to him

"Ok run it 3 times in a row then you guys go prepare yourselves before you go on" Tess said with a clap of her hands

We just finished our last rehearsal and let's just say I am getting so nervous but I think it's mostly because of what Sean said..I was just worried that it might mess with the raw emotion that we are supposed to have. This also means that it's the only time I could take to Sean

"Hey Sean..can I talk to you?" I asked as we were being escorted to the side stage

"Yeah..shoot" He replied

I pull him over to the side so we aren't as noticed by everyone

"About our talk earlier..It's just been bothering me..I still don't know what you meant I might just be really stupid but I just didn't understand and I don't want it to affect th-

"Do you even know what vacuous means?" He asked putting his hands on my waist

"Not at all" I said with a smile

"It means mindless.." He said with a nod

"I'm confused..still" I said furrowing my eyebrows

"Your a special one Kaycee Rice" He said with a smirk

He looks deep into my eyes..then looks down to my lips

"What I was trying to say earlier was..I like you Kaycee Rice" 

And with that, he kissed me...I know we've kissed before but this time it felt a lot more real..if that makes any sense

"I like you to..but I just don't understand..why would a guy like you like a girl like me?" I asked tilting my head

"2 Minutes!" Tessandra yelled

"I like you because you're different than other girls..in a good way..you're a perfect girl..your just broken and don't know how perfect you are..now Tess is gonna yell at us if we don't get our ass's out there so we'll finish this conversation at home" He said kissing my forehead

"Kaycee Rice and Sean Lew where the hell a-..there you are!" Tessandra said grabbing our arms

"You two are on in 45 so Kaycee hurry up and run behind the curtain to the other side=-..Ok you two good luck I love you" She said running back to her seat

"Love you Tessy" I heard Sean faintly said as I ran to the other side

I got to the other side of the stage and right when I did Sean immediately locked eyes with me..he just smiled and formed a little heart with his hands

"So the first performance of the night was choreographed by an Emmy award winner herself Mrs. Tessandra Chavez ..let's give it up for Tessandra's station choreography" The host said *I just dropped the backing to my earing...i am so upset*

The music starts to play and Sean and I start the choreography..everything was so quiet..everyone was just focusing on the dance. 

We got to the end of the dance where we walk off the stage..this was my least favorite part because you could never tell if the other person was lifting their leg up at the same time you are.  Oh..my..lord..I just did that..I just F-ING PERFORMED AT THE EMMYS..breath Kaycee..just breath

"Kayc You did great!" Sean said running to hug me

"You did too!" I said as he picked me up and spun me around

"So about that talk" He said putting his arm around my shoulder

"You're such a 

dork..

I am tired

but my sleep schedule is f'd
