"That dance...I couldn't help but think that it could have been about me..but I know that that's not true because you don't like me like tha-" I rambled
"But I do like you like that"
"I just can't believe that you could ever like me..I'm just a pitty orphan that your family took under their wing" I said slipping my hand out of his grip
"Kayc no..that's not true..I begged my parents to get out of bed so they could listen to me tell your story..I told them that I was falling in love with you..because I am"He said grabbing both of my hands
"You are?" I said hesitantly
"I truly am" He said with a smile
"Then let's try this out" I said smiling back
"Try what out?" He asked
"Us.." I replied
"But I haven't asked you out yet" He said with a confused tone
"Then that's for you to figure out" I said hopping up from the couch
Well then...maybe it-..us will work

I'm up in my room just sitting in my egg chair hoping Sean doesn't do anything big..but he knows that I like small gestures.
"Knock knock" I heard from outside my door
"Come in" I said
"Hey" Sean said as he closed the door
"Hey" I said with a smile
"So...what's up" He said with a chuckle
"Nothing much" I said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear
He reaches his hands out for me to grab..
which I do
"Kaycee Catlin Rice..from the moment I saw you at the grove I thought you were the most beautiful girl I had ever seen..I was super conceited before I met you..I guess the fame hit me..you didn't want a picture with me..you didn't fall to my feet and that's why I liked you. But when we started hanging out I saw the talented, funny, sarcastic,even more gorgeous, and weird side of you..which made me fall for you more than I already had..all our stupid pranks and country music jamming sessions made me realize that what I was waiting for was standing right in front of me..so I've been waiting to ask you this because if you said no.I wouldn't ask anyone else, I wouldn't fall in love with anybody else because I'm in love with you..and only you..so I ask Kaycee..will you be my girlfriend?" He asked smiling
"How could I say no" I said smiling back at him
"Hopefully you wouldn't" He said with a chuckle
"Dork..its a yes" I said with a giggle
He picks me up and hugs me before he says
"Now I can finally kiss you without Mack threatening me" He said kissing me
"Nope she'll still do that" I said with a giggle
"I expected that" He said with a chuckle
"We gonna tell her?" He added
"She lives with us..she'll find out sooner or later so I guess we should" I said with Sean's hand still on my waist
"Mack!" I yelled opening the door to my room
"What do you w-" She said before seeing Sean's hand
She clears her throat and cracks her knuckles before she steps closer to us
"Yes" She said glaring at Sean
"We're dating" I said with a smile
"Oh thank god" She breathed out
"Now I can stop pretending to care" She said walking away
"Wow...thanks" I said with a chuckle
"Typical" Sean said turning back around
"Well at least she knows" I said closing the door behind me
I lay down on my bed and Sean follows..I lay my head on his shoulder and wrap my arms around his torso. He starts to hum Best friend by Jason Chen which is the song that Mack is playing in her room
"You know this song is a lot like our story" Sean said
"No it's not" I bluntly said
"How so? Sean asked
"Because our story will forever be way different than a stupid song..and that's what makes it special" I said
"And that's why I love you" he said kissing me on my head
"Love you too" I said snuggling up next to him
I'm really worried that we're going to break up and fall out..I don't know why I guess it's just that we live with together so if we did break up we would see each other every day. Plus we take care of an 11-year-old when we are not even adults yet so we can't just leave her here by herself forever.
Like I said..
let's give us a try
