This was like any typical, laid back party in '66 for Mick Jagger. People were blowin' smoke, snuffing that stuff, drinkin' and some were swinging around in a desperate attempt to try to "dance." But most people were just sipping their drinks and talking to one another. Some music played in the background, but no one really bothered to listen to it.
Mick looked around for any woman he could potentially get with that night, but didn't see any that was worth his time or that he was interested in. He was also looking for a potential girlfriend. After all, he had just recently broken up with Marianne and had been looking for a girl to sleep with every night, and not just a variety of different groupies and such.
"Mick? Are you going to actually have fun or are you just going to sit around?" Keith Richards, Mick's glimmer twin, walked up to him, deciding now would be a good time to bug him.
Mick shrugged. "Maybe. Depends on if I see anyone here I like."
Keith shook his head. "Really? Must you ALWAYS think of sex? There's more to a party than just that."
"You're no better." Mick mumbled, trying very weakly to defend himself.
"Well, uh... Maybe! But that doesn't mean I don't think of other things! Seriously, I think you might have an issue. I mean, just look at all your former girlfriends you tormented and played around with!" Keith exclaimed with quite a serious tone.
"Fine. At least I'm not as bad as Brian. He beats his girls," Mick rolled his eyes, crossed his arms, and scanned the room once more. He still didn't find any bird of interest.
"Well, maybe, but you're still pretty bad when it comes to that. You emotionally abuse the poor birds!" Keith replied and took out a pack of half used up cigarettes. He took one out and a lighter he kept in his pocket, and lit it. While he was taking a drag from it, Mick gave Keith and knowing look. Keith exhaled and blew the smoke out before handing over the cigarettes and the lighter over to Mick. From there, Mick lit his up, and started smoking as well.
"Hmm. Maybe." The two musicians stood there, smokin' and looking around. When Keith went to go get them some drinks, Mick happened to notice someone, and more specifically a pretty bird who managed to catch his eye. She had short, fluffy brown hair, dark brown eyes with incredibly thick and dark eyelashes, and was very skinny. Her eyes were big, and she looked nervous. She radiated innocence.
And innocence was just was Mick needed.
Mick started to think about what his next move should be. How should he approach her? Could he use the tight pants pickup he so loved? Or something else? Judging by the way she was standing there, looking at everything curiously, she was probably new to this whole partying thing and was most likely alone. Plus she was dressed up quite modestly, meaning that she wouldn't just give away her love to some random guy that easily. Mick decided that he was to go off as nice and pleasant. But if she wanted something else, then he could either change to be more seductive or charming if need be.
"Keith. I found someone." Mick spoke to Keith, not taking his eyes off of the innocent girl. Keith came back with two margaritas, and handed one over to Mick.
"Who?" Keith proceeded to take a drink while looking around.
"That bird over there!" Mick pointed to the area in which his next victim stood.
"The one with blond hair?" Keith asked and looked over to see a group of blonds crowding around Bill.
"No. The one with light brown hair," Mick directed Keith's attention to the young woman. "See her now?"
"Oh! Uh, I thought you were going for a model or an actress or a-"
"Maybe I want someone different this time. Mix things up a bit." Mick interrupted.
"Alright. Good luck with this poor girl, I suppose."
"I won't need luck. She'll be easy to get. After all, she COULDN'T possibly resist me. And I WILL get her in the end."
A/n: Sorry for short chapter! A way larger one will be up soon!
