So why do we need betas again? JulmorelikeJuul 3.2k likes

Everyone knows the only reason Hunter even got the time of day was because he was an Alpha. "Restrictive and obsessive check-ins?" Looks like he can't even do that right. Where does Hunter get off with such a large ego? Sebstian_hella_cute 12.4k likes

--->"Facts" that are as of yet, unsupported. Wait for the grownups to confirm the facts before spouting ur propaganda crabby. fortniteMVP 1.4k likes

Lmao look at all the JulSeb and Julius fans flaming betas in the comments. You forget that the unknown beta is the least at fault for all this. He literally just got out of there the minute he could. a_small_world 13.5k likes

There were two people standing in front of him, a woman and a little boy, and though he could see the smile on their faces he couldn't make out any distinguishable features.

They noticed him looking at them, and smiled brighter. "Fei Chuan!" called the woman in an androgynous voice. "Brother!"

"Uncle!" echoed the little boy in the same voice, waving frantically. "Over here! Over here!"

Fei Chuan walked towards them for what felt like half a day, and finally knelt in front of the little boy.

He was beamed at. "Uncle, uncle!" the little boy said, excitedly. "Do you still remember me? It's me, -----------!"

"Li 'er," Fei Chuan said, religiously. "Of course I still remember you." Li 'er, who liked to cling so much when Fei Chuan returned from service to his nation that his actual father and Fei Chuan's brother in law got jealous.

The little boy nodded happily. "Yeah, that's right! Do you still remember what I look like?"

His face was featureless beyond a pert little nose and a happy mouth. Fei Chuan couldn't see his eyes, nor could he make out the shape of the child's jaw. He had no idea if the little boy's hair was in a bowl cut, or shaved, or anything in between (but hopefully the 'in between'). He simply did not know.

He looked at his nephew and his sister from a life that ended fifty centuries ago, and a part of him with it, and closed his eyes. "Sorry. Uncle forgot."

Fei Chuan woke up to a bright light streaming through the window blinds of his sole window and the smell of burnt coffee. He sat up, wincing at the crick in his neck, before reaching out and grabbing the coffee mug at the nightstand.
