I reached home late, the cab I took ran out of gas leaving me to walk the remaining distance. It had been a week since I moved into my new apartment and everyday I took out some time to make it feel a little more home-y.

My phone started ringing as I pushed the main door.

"Hello?" Kicking away my shoes, I dragged myself to my room.

"Wow you sound quite energetic" Jasmine remarked sarcastically and I rolled my eyes.

"What do you want" I threw myself on my bed, closing my eyes in the process. Work had been a pain in the ass, staying late at the company was becoming a thing since the past few days as the launch of the new Winter Collection was nearing.

"Me and Nora are thinking of hitting this new club tonight, are you in?" She spoke on the other line, my ears perked up at her offer.

"God, yes! I so want to drink the stress away"

"Okay then we'll pick you up at 8, don't be late"

"Okay, mom" I said mockingly and went inside my closet in hope to find something hot.

I did a little makeup, and let my hair loose. I was so ready to let somebody take me home tonight as I have been frustrated since my breakup with Jake. Slipping into my pink dress and silver heels, I left the house hearing the horns of Jasmine's car.

"Calm your horses, I'm here!" I exclaimed and Nora laughed while Jas just scoffed.

"Change the song before I fucking jump out of this car." I scream over the loud music, but those two crackheads were busy jamming to Taylor Swift. The worst thing was that I forgot my headphones so I just tried to block out the noise. Keyword. Tried.

"Who's the designated driver for tonight?" Nora asked happily as we entered the club. The club looked pretty nice and folled with so many people already.

"Count me out, I need to drink my stress away." I remarked and took quick steps towards the bar.

"So that just leaves you,Jas." She said and ran to greet a high school friend. Did I forget to mention that Nora was a social butterfly? I could care less about my high school pals.

"Bring me your strongest drink." I ordered the bartender as we sat on the stools.

"Are you sure you can handle it?" The bartender asked amusingly. His pierced eyebrow raised and I could see a tattoo peeking out from his button up shirt.

"Are you challenging me?" I narrowed my eyes at him and leaned a bit on the counter.

He just laughed and went to prepare my order not before asking Jas what she wanted. He came back after a bit and smirked at me as I took a sip of my drink. It was too strongand burned my throat but still felt nice. Not wanting to give up, I finished it and grinned.

Coughing, I slowly reached the dance floor where I saw Nora who was cosying up to some hot guy. "Hey! Come here." I screamed over the music giggling and she happily joined me. We danced like maniacs until the guy from before stole her away from me.

I kept swaying to the beat alone until I felt hands wrapped around my waist, causing me to turn around in a state of panic. Calm down. I squinted my eyes at the man in front of me. He was good looking with his blonde hair and blue eyes but not my type. He smirked at me and kept pulling me closer. I pushed his chest a bit but he didn't seem to grab the hint instead, he tried to grab my ass.

"Woah hands off, mister." I told him and backed away. Poor boy thought he can have his way with anyone.

"Don't play hard to get sweetheart, I know you want me as much as I want you." He made an attempt to get closer to me.
